    • I am confused. Is this part of some celebratory pilgrimage, for his prime ministership? If not, why now? It does seem like he hasn’t been there in along time, if ever.

      • What's wrong with going to church once per year on Christmas Day?

        • The way they react to the person reading Bhagvatham makes me think they are new to the temple.

Looks to me that ISKCON organization might have invited him since he is from an Indian origin and he also eventually accepted the invite. Maybe even vice versa, he wanted to make a gesture to certain ethnicities/ religious groups in UK.

This act might attract or please some set of population!

          Remember, he is in politics!

          • Apparently, this is not the first time this has happened. Check this video out from 6 years ago.

            • I suppose, all glories to Rishi Sunak! All glories to ISCKON founder Prabhupada! Ki jay!

When one has attained the material top most, then it makes good sense for the religious person to pile credits for the afterlife.

Maybe he will turn his cabinet into a garland of offered souls around the neck of murti/ wax statue of Srila Prabhada. What a unique honor!

However, though UK is incomparably more tolerant than the US in this regard, they do observe separation of religion and state.

It could bring a spotlight on ISCKON, that could backfire in every direction, as the skeletons come flying out of the closet.

His predecessor Boris Johnson knows all to well, what kind of hell pesky and relentless investigations can create for the occupant of10 Downing Streett

But for now all only see their gain/interest.This confuses me. But may they all florish.
