Guru Concept Spread Globally

This is more evidence how the guru concept from India, spread globally and its terminology is being used even in Africa.

    • I couldn’t take this seriously. It was too funny. His name, the shirdie sai baba style head wear, foot rest and chair etc. The guy studied the guru business model well. Found an untapped Christian market in Africa to target. And will definitely get the marketing with this and more videos.

    • Yeah, just widly skipping through was sufficient for me too.

It is good to pay attention to these movements.

And, be it from Africa, Alaska, Atlanta, Antartica... Teacher to disciple transmission of knowledge and information has always existed between humans. It is how we shape cultures and civilization. Other species also learn and transmit know-how.

The first to package and commercialise Eastern philosophy per se were Indian gurus themselves. And, now in the age of high speed travel and internet it is only fair game for others to adopt and integrate, in the same way as so many beliefs systems have been over the centuries.

inSelf Yoga itself is a prime example of such a phenomena, even though behind the veneer of globalization here what is of significance is the reemergence of instincts from past lives in just different bodily forms and color (or hue). But all the same, what is present only in their lives today will be resurfacing in subsequent life times.

Ultimately, it is most interesting to heed to what is happening on the planetary level, for something is going on! And, yes it takes centuries if not millenas to see notable changes in the movements of civilizations and belief systems, but these things are constantly going on.

The result or cause of these mechanisms is a fundamental questioning of preestablished norms and beliefs in many parts of world, and more than likely there is taking place shifts in consciousness, questioning, interpretation and understanding of human experience and life as a whole.

      • After his first sentence, I moved on. I personally have no tolerance for such pseudo "gurus".
