Yogi Color Interest

Even for advanced yogis, the quest for color is something to contend with. I was in a conversation with a lady on the physical side, when I noticed that a vision-scan beam was being rotated in my right eye. I realized that one of my yoga teachers, who is deceased but who is currently on the astral side of existence, was present in my psyche, in the head of the subtle body. He beamed a vision ray to turn my right eye so that it would focus on the arm of the lady.

It searched for her arm. When it identified the color, it pulled that energy through the focusing ray. I inquired from him.

“How is it friend that you moved one eye to focus on skin color?”

He replied, “There was this need to see that specific color. It was similar to when a person is thirsty and feels the need for water. Here it was a thirst for a color which comes from reproductive energy, as distinguished from sexual pleasure energy

“It was not a pleasure need. It was the color of the energy to reproduce. That is a distinct energy. It cannot be controlled in every respect. Sometimes it arises and then one has to fulfill it. Otherwise, it recurs frequently and upsets peace of mind.”

    • The astral Yogi is practical and realistic!

As Buddha says one has to stop before it arises and flourishes.

If it arises so quickly and one has to fulfill it, if not, it keeps bothering and annoying from one corner of the psyche.

Some super Yogis cross the desert without any water, most yogis need water to quench the thirst!

They go in search of an oasis to drink some water, but in the contrast of the desert heat, the oasis of temporary fulfillment looks so spectacular that they might decide to camp there until the next kick comes from the nature (Prakriti).

Temporary fulfillment are must and realistic for ordinary jivas, but it should not become a permanent abode of satisfaction and fulfillment!
