Weapons?

Are the manufacturers responsible in part for the use of their sold weapons?

Before you reply take into consideration if it was right for the tobacco companies to be liable for the cancers which smoking tobacco produce.

    • What complicates the cases of death by a trigger is the fact they depend on the state laws.

However, the states are divided on regulations and gun control. CA is more restrictive as opposed to TX where it is becoming very common to own a gun and carry it, it appears loaded and ready (and for what?).

So seeking justice (suing for monetary compensation for the survivors), may not be satisfactory in a state like Texas, or Republican (Red) states. The alternative becomes to sue and obtain gainful compensation from the source (the actual manufacturer) and cost them. It is also more effective, direct and impactful to sue groups that violate the civil liberties of another and blow them a loss.
