    • The idea of nature is experience, meaning any experience having nothing to do with positive or negative, just experience for experience sake for expression of sensation, like when one peers into a kaleidoscope. Each time one turns the face of it, and peers one sees something else. It is the same set of particles but arranged in this or that way according to the twist of fate, even the slightest movement/displacement.

Some Buddhists strive to get rid of experience or to remove themselves or what people terms as themselves from the environment which imposes experience. Why? Because experience is the read out of trauma, of unpleasant feelings.

The supposition is that if there is no experience, there will be no feelings which translates into no trauma, no risk of repercussions, no scrambling for control of time and circumstances.

On the astral side anyone who dies instantly in an accident is instantly out of touch with the condition of the physical body and is instantly fully aware of the subtle one. The only pain for that person would be damage in the subtle body. None of the damage to the physical body, no matter how bad it is, would be felt.

And yet, we experience that relatives of such a dead person may react to the situation as if the person was on the physical side and is experiencing the physical condition.   That is due to the mental and emotional conclusion imposition which the surviving relatives are subjected to as their experience.

We experience what actually happens and what our minds projects into what actually happens. It is reduced to experience, regardless of whether it is real or imagined.

      • Thank you for the inSelf illustrative comment.

        My reaction:

This is tantamount to an individual walking into a science (experiment) lab, and then becoming perpetually perplexed or distracted by the all the instruments to be used for the purpose of drawing useful conclusions or life lessons, for "better/ higher life", to the extent that they almost never make a significant observation for the setup.

And, yes so easy to come so close, and even staring at nature's activities straight in the eyes, yet remain aloof from sufficiently advanced observation (from this perspective anyways.), for the activities of the sensual instruments.

        • Funny cycles they are!

The karmic connection is there. They are glad that they are reconnected to carry some more in each other's company.

So much frustration to instinctively feels and wants to express with no capacity to do so. And, then by the time it can be express normally memory has already been made full of newer stuff to learn, and it is not remembered anymore.

Complete lack of control, such a state of desperation. Thankfully patient and understanding guardians make it all so reassuring, loving, and engaging.

Then at some point society or the mass effect takes hold, then it is a mad ride, unbeknownst to one. A tight conundrum.

          Funny cycles?

          Crucial cycles!
