    • Ukraine was not going through a civil war not then, not now. It just doesn’t look that way. At this time the US itself is a kind of dry kecg ready for a sparkle.

      Once I heard that the US is responsible along with its allies for expanding and making Russia feel insecure. As I have expressed previously, the US wouldn’t tolerate a Russian/communist presence next door. That has been the complications with Castro/Cuba, since the Pigs Bay.

      And, it is not always that the US supports democratic governments, it acts in self interest primarily and that is to be expected. It wants to appear as an eagle!

      I think that’s what he is not centering on sufficiently. The US doesn’t have as much respect for Russia as would be acceptable to Putin, and they are denying him what he wants, by making him even more uncomfortable!

      • There has been and continues to be a separatist movement, I guess that can be looked at as a civil war. This is at the side of the border with Russia.It is really more of this hostile take over by Putin, which now at a pinacle.
