Rivalry

Rivalry is natural and consistent in every area of relationship among the selves. Each self aspires for prominence. Fortunately, Nature throttles the clashing energy which we know as fate or providence. This is done so that the rivalry is expressed in a reduced condition with less violence then it would be if it was not regulated.

In the astral existence, I was with some women at a meeting of acquaintances. These females were in elderly bodies on the physical side. They met in their elderly years on the astral side to compare their career successes. For a split second, I got a vision of what would happen if their desires were accelerated so that they would attempt to fulfill their wishes all at once.

In that astral place, war began. They hacked at one another with severe violence. Each scrambled to best the other. Each tried to get this or that item or value which the other one reached for, and thought she deserved. The most violent scenes occurred when each wanted to have the same man as a lover. They shouted profanities at each other. One threatened to disfigure the other. One cursed and said, “I will fix your fucking face, you ugly bitch. He is my man. Get away from here. I will cut your lopsided breast. I will push a hot poke up your cunt, you whore.”

The whole thing was grievous to witness. I also saw how Nature spreads these antagonistic energies in the psyche of each individual, so that someone who would hate another person, may appear to love that other person under certain circumstances. But in fact, there was only a rivalry between those two selves, with Nature keeping them apart, by regulating how they could meet as physical bodies, and where they would interact and for how long.

This physical existence and its corresponding psychic plane are terrible situations indeed. As one prepares for death, one should investigate and experience the domains of the hereafter. Where will one go? Who will one be? How will one participate in events after being deprived of the physical body?

After this, I had another vision which showed some contradictory emotions of one person to another person in different lives, where different relationships were configured by fate. In one life, this lady was the daughter of this other woman, but then in the next life they were school friends who intensely disliked the other. Once as school friends, when one liked a male, the other was in love with that man. A fight ensued between them. In the hostility, the daughter now being a rival, kicked and abused the other, who was humiliated.

The question is. Where does this end? What is the true basis of relationships? Who really loves whom?
