    • Interesting. An updated and well studied take on the matter!

      Certainly culturally and religiously decimating Tibet as well as currently orchestrating the culuroside/genocide of the Uyghurs will not make for good nation karma. 

      Certain human functions are not easily and normally manifested under unnatural constraints, their experiment is failing regarding to this.

      The very impetus for overlooking the happiness of others is the one due to which such a government is blinded to the happiness of its own people.

      A Case for Human Behavioral Analysis 

      So called evolution has become endemic to humanity:

      Alterations in the human conditions and behaviors have consequences that have not really been studied as such or in a meaningful manner. It is a subtle aspect, therefore inconspicuous to objectivity.

      Endogenic and exogenic modifications relative to the human psyche carry over changes into the human behaviors and conditions in the relative long range term.

        One is a target for many alterations which is beyond one's control.

        Running after the pleasurable ones is no solution to the problem.

        But it does distract one from the issue, the way scratching the skin eases awareness of a mite which bites into a pore.
