That's how the nature has kept this dimension
Even in Science we call this phenomenon as "fatigue" or rate of degration/ decomposition or weight loss. Even plastic degrades over time and scientists measure the rate of degradation in each medium/ agents like gas, liquid and solid.
Scientists are finding smarter way to slow down the decay rate by protection, coating or manipulating certain elements at atomic scale, and what would decay in 2-3 days can be extended to 2-3 months (like milk, dairy,etc).
The longest half life or rate of decay is for Uranium, but even it has to come to stop how much ever longer it may be.
- Uranium 238 → 4.5 billion years
- Uranium 235 → 700 million years
- Uranium 234 → 250 thousand years
This means Chernobyl radioactive radiation accident happened in 1986 will have the dangerous radiation for next 700 million rays, there is no permanent to way to seal it for so long!!
Because everything to seal it will decay every 100 years or new one has to built.
These different half life or decay duration remind me of jivatmas at this different level till Brahmaloka, at the end of billions of years, everything has to be dissolved in to primal source.
Only Paramatmas (Krishna, Shiva, Buddhas) are inherently beyond this fast or slow decay rate dimensions. Non-Decayable ones!
At the most, one can prolong the decay but not stop any decay in this physical dimension, we can maintain decently till it is beyond impossible to recover it. It is hard truth to integrate in psyche and day to day life.
The Maya the false promising potential of permanence covers the Atma/ coreself indefinitely till one is liberated.
