Lost Teacher Hereafter

A fairly advanced yogi who passed on some years ago, got frustrated when he tried to connect with his spiritual master who passed on many years prior. One would think that once dead, one could get in touch with one’s spiritual teacher easily in the astral realms. However the astral existence is shifty and hard to pin down unlike the material existence which for the time being is definite and remains in place.

Many people one spiritual path blackmark the material world as being temporary but the astral existence though it will outlast the physical is flimsy and shifty, much more than the physical. If you left a building ten years ago, it is likely that it will be there if you return to it after that period of time, but if you left an astral building ten minutes ago, you may never find the place again. It may have shifted out of existence or it may have shifted in dimensional frequency, or your astral body may have changed in vibration to where it can no longer tune to the level where that building exists.

After looking and looking in the astral world for his teacher who was deceased for over fifty years, the advanced yogi came to ask me about the teacher, as to if I saw or heard of him.

I had seen this teacher about five or six times but on each occasion, it was because this person wanted to assign me some literary duties. Some yogis cannot be located astrally unless they want to be found by a specific person. However the key question is why would anyone who becomes deceased want to find some other person, a yoga-guru, who was long deceased?

The only reason that makes sense is that the one who searches wants to get rare kriya techniques from the advanced teacher.

However if there is someone else who knows those techniques and if that person is available either physically or astrally, the seeker should go to that person. There might be a problem though, of knowing that person and not feeling to respect that person, or knowing that person and feeling that one should be able to select some other person to learn the technique from.

Does one have to like a teacher to take instructions from that person?

Does one have to agree with the philosophical or religious ideas of a teacher, before one can learn from that person?
