iSelf Front Focus
For making use of access to the chit akash, one should master the iSelf front focus, which consist of having no operations of the intellect while peering forward gently from naad absorption in the back of the head.
The forward peer occurs in two stages, when there is naad light ahead in the frontal part of the subtle head and when there is an actual opening to or light protruding into the psyche from the chit akash sky of consciousness. In either case one should peer forward but in such a way as to encourage the entry or light to continue for a time, rather than to vanish as soon as it is perceived.
Inspite of the desperation students have to experience the chit akash sky of consciousness even for once in a lifetime, if one did not develop the iSelf front focus prior to the experience, he or she will find that the incidence occurs for a split second only. The effort to see it seems to cause it to disappear even faster than it normally would.
When a student consults with a physical or astral yoga guru, if that teacher knows the system thoroughly, he or she will explain that the rapid disappearance of the access to the chit akash sky of consciousness, may occur because of not knowing how to focus into it.
One has to develop that iSelf focus by using naad sound resonance as a support while one pulls the energy of the iSelf into itself. This pull should be practice until it is steady and continuous. This pull is the subtle muscle which will be used to peer into the sky of consciousness or to connect with light which penetrates through the supernatural fog which surrounds the psyche of the yogi.
Sky of consciousness experience may occur to anyone who meditates. In fact it may happen even to persons who do no meditation. However the experience will be infrequent, rare, once in a lifetime. For it to be regular, the person should practice breath infusion to pull all pollution out of the subtle body before doing the meditation. In the meditation, the intellect must be shut down so that it does not present memories, images or ideas. The frontal part of the subtle head should be blank of ideas. The iSelf should be absorbed in naad sound resonance which should be heard in an interesting and engaging frequency.
The iSelf should turn to face the front of the body and should pulls itself back into itself steadily. This energy will be used for peering into the chit akash once there is an access opened to it.
