Hating Immigrants in South Africa
According to the below article, three statements that instigated and fueled the animalistic behaviors all come from the president Zuma's camp.
Those statements came from him, his son and his Zulu tribal affiliated King!
I am utterly baffled and dismayed that no one has to my knowledge denounced these events as a ploy on the part of Zuma to cast distraction in the media over his incapacity to hold on to his position due to a series of blatant corruptions and other damning behaviors, especially that the timing seem rather calculated.
Simply put, now that a black leader after Nelson Mandela of ANC is in power and problems persist for Blacks it is easy to blame illegal immigration for the issue, the usual scapegoat, so obvious.
The very term "illegal" thrown in suggests an acquired ideology within the African context where historically there isn't much awareness into the legality of immigration. Furthermore, Zuma included in later statements that some immigrants have committed crimes but not all can be be considered similarly.
