Fulfillment of Desires

Some desires are so grand that it is hardly likely they will ever be fulfilled. For instance suppose I have the desire to become God by hook or crook, by yoga or belief, then how much will that cost?

To get some idea of how costly a desire may be see this video. Leave your comments below. Thanks.

    • Interesting lifestyle. Would be a nice commercial for those who are interested.

Though desire is relative, it does have a cost. And, there are times when desire is not facilitated and therefore may not be satisfied. Because at times also the price to it can be delayed to another life.

God being beyond desire is also absolute. So no way to desire becoming God.

Well Surya, you should find that out from Hiranyakashipu why he had sure a desire.

        • So actually desiring to become God is desiring to be a demon (I like the evocation), or as some have expressed it, a dog. Still, he was given the opportunity to express his demonic nature and live it out engaging God himself.

A desire is also the other flip side of what it represents beyond, a cost with a responsibility tax.

So a desire, the fulfillment of a desire, and the cost of one are just different sides of the same element, as they stretch over time.

          Good point, btw.
