Failed Yogis Haven

Yogeshwarananda established an astral ashram which is to the southwest when one sits to meditate. This place is for those yogis who are deprived of physical bodies before achieving liberation from physical rebirth.

It is a place where such yogis can suspend the rebirth impulse and continue yoga practice to ascend to higher locales. A friend-yogi, Sir Paul Castagna, stays at this ashram. I also saw a few women at that place, one whom I knew some years prior but who was deprived of her physical body.

I was informed by Yogeshwarananda that the place is such that it cannot be found by anyone whom he did not select as being qualified. One important qualification is that the yogi/yogini, should already master kundalini spinal sushumna ascent, as well as cell and zone clearance in the trunk of the subtle body and thigh clearance of lusty astral energy.

Since I saw a few ladies there who did not achieve this, I was of the view that Yogeshwarananda made exceptions for certain people. When I thought this, he said this into my head.

“Those persons who do not qualify by yoga skill but who are selected have some special connection with someone who qualifies or with yourself or myself or some other worthy yogis. People who help themselves, who are sincere in the effort and who are not lazy in practice can be accommodated.”

    • That is in my estimation one of the greatly special contributions, benevolence, compassion, mercy, helpfulness, understanding, hopeful, pity, divinity,… towards and for the inSelf Yogi, given how arduous the path is.

This can be the case in general or for yogins with a retarded start. I pray for such mercy!

Once this body becomes inaccessible forever (more or less immediately in relative time), for there to be hope of elevation in yoga without the incessant needs of the biological body and its relatives’ bodies, right within the very next (subtle) breath, hopefully, then I inquire to myself what more to ask for.

Yogiraj GuruDeva's Yogeshwarananda's support, kindness and love to the inSelf Yoga group have been consistent and persistent over the years. It is my sincere prayer (though of no worth) that Providence favors his plans for the yogins forevermore.

Infinite mercy and gratitude to him!
