Dream Report 12/03/2019 - Suryananda

I was taking a cat nap and when about to awake realized that I was experiencing sleep paralysis. Though they are rare for me, I have been experiencing more as of late than normally. This is most likely due to the lack of fresh air in the room in the old house of my current living situation. I wasn’t in a hurry to wake up for work or anything, so I decided, and proceeded to lift my subtle body up from the physical one, which was not synchronizing around the hands.

My hands and forearms where the issue, because I could sense it from within the subtle body that I couldn’t move them. I was laying on my left side with the right hand over the left. It felt like some force/ energy was holding them together, not permitting me to move them at all.

So instead of continuing to waste more time forcing synchronization of the bodies, I lifted myself from my physical body with the intention to do bhastrika breathing or some yoga. I quickly realized that yoga would require more time than I had, so did some breathing for a couple of minutes or so (astral time scale). The instinct to do breathing is another clue as to the lack of fresh air in the room, at least for my needs.

Then somehow I felt that I could try to wake up again. Once I was back into the physical, as I was aware of what was going all along, and was in no hurry, I automatically checked to see if the hands would respond by moving a finger or so, and they responded, at which point I slowly switch to gross consciousness.
