Divine Eye Development Instructions

For some time now in fact for the time since around 1972, I did mystic practices for the clarification of the divine eye. Some feel that such work should not be engaged in but rather one should aim for unity with the absolute, oneness with the whole or even extinction of a bothersome existence.

However I have a compulsion to develop the divine eye. The value of this perception is that it allows a yogi to rate his advancement in real time and to know what he may attain as a destination hereafter.

If for instance his mental eye can only see things of a physical origin, or of a lower astral origin, then that is a telltale that he will assume physical life or a low astral dimension after he is evicted from the physical body.

The use of the divine eye is the direct way to gage one’s spiritual progress. Regardless of what I say or do, what I profess or deny, in the final analysis, whatever I can easily view with the divine eye, is my average level of perception. Whatever that is illustrates where I will be hereafter.

In the life of Gautam Buddha, there are some hints about the value of the divine eye. For instance, after the enlightenment regarding the cause and elimination of trauma, his first use of the divine eye was its focus on the psychological status of human beings. He gaged if they could use the methods which he pioneered and were successful with. As he used the divine eye to range over the world’s population, he could hardly find anyone who could utilize his methods. Most persons were unfit for the required austerities and as he described it they had too much dust in their eyes. He did locate a few who were ascetics with whom he performed austerities prior.

As soon as he considered sharing the methods with these persons, he became aware of deities, supernatural beings from higher realms who addressed him and explained that those ascetic were actually no longer using physical bodies. Hence methods which required the ascetic to have a physical form for performance could not be utilized by those persons.

The question is:

Why did Buddha not see anything beside the mental condition of human beings as it related to the potential of liberation?

Why did his divine eye focus on that and nothing else?

Actually during the period of his austerities which earned him the enlightenment, he saw many other things with the divine eye, for instance he saw (re-experienced) many past lives in various species, human and otherwise.

This gives some idea about the value of using the divine eye and that it can be used to rate which level of existence he is attuned to. It is obvious that Buddha was still concerned with physical existence even after the enlightenment into the cause and elimination of trauma.

In developing the divine eye, the chief method used is to deposit the interest energy of the self directly to the place at the center of the eyebrows. There could also be a deposit at the intellect. Either will suffice to cause the manifestation of the divine eye in the long term.

It is necessary that pratyahar sensual energy containment and silencing be achieved because without that there can be no clean deposit of interest to the brow chakra or intellect. The yogi is require to be in meditation with a totally silenced mind. During that silence he should deposit his interest to the brow chakra or intellect. The energy when it is deposited to the brow chakra should not go through the chakra but should remain on the inside of the subtle forehead, inside of the chakra.

After so many deposits, the yogi will experience the divine eye.

How many hours of meditation would be required?

That would depend on the specific yogi and on the strength of purity of the interest energy and on the thoroughness of the pratyahar sensual energy withdrawal. The deeper the withdrawal the more deposit will accrue which will result in quicker experience of the divine eye.

~~~~~~~
At first the idea of developing the divine eye is based on the belief and evidence that one does not have the eye and that other advanced yogis use it. In this conception which is based on the reality of not using the eye and of having only darkness or speckled darkness or voidness where the eye should be, there is a ring of truth. The person does have the divine eye. It is shrouded however and thus it is nonfunctional which is interpreted as being non-existent.
So long as the self has an interest, any interest, that self does have a divine eye. There may be some contention as to the range of it, where a higher being uses a larger range but there is no contention that the person has a divine eye.
The divine eye is present at the brow chakra and at the intellect psychic organ but its presence is not obvious. It is not objective for persons who are not advanced in yogic meditation.
This means that it is likely that the person will think that there is no divine eye. Hence will arise the concept about developing or producing it. This is a false concept but it is useful nevertheless because it inspires desire to develop it.
The way to experience the divine eye and there is only one way for this, is to develop the neutral interest energy at the brow chakra or into the intellect organ in the head of the subtle body. The deposit at the third eye must be on the inside of the eye and not through the eye into another other dimension.
The problem with the method is that it must be done with the interest energy being in its neutral stage.
What is the neutral stage?
It is when the interest energy is not influenced by any information from the kundalini lifeforce, memory or the normal functioning intellect.
During meditation when there are attempts to deposit interest energy, this is done with a contaminated interest energy and not with a neutral one. There are varying degrees of such contamination.
Most meditators make the meditation with a somewhat contaminated interest energy, with one which is not fully neutral. This means that those deposits of energy in meditation will not result in realization of the operation of the eye.
I was advised by a great yogin to use the mantra of Om Namo Shiva at the third eye but this was to be used only when the interest energy which was being deposited was neutral or was about 95% neutral. I was told to wait at the third eye, brow chakra, for the appearance of the Shiva deity. When I asked how long I would have to wait, I was originally told for six (6) months.
After six months when nothing happened, when Shiva did not appear, I inquired of the teacher. He stated that it is six months if the yogi has a neutral interest energy and deposits it for that period of time during meditation for six months. Otherwise he said the energy would accumulate until it pooled to be as it would be if it was continually being deposited for six months.
How long would a yogi have to wait?
This is a very good question but it cannot be answered because the duration would vary from person to person.
In my case, after years of making deposit, I finally achieve an audience at the third eye with Shiva.
Which Shiva?
That is another issue. I cannot say that it would be this Shiva or that Shiva, because it would depend on the specific Shiva whom that yogi was destined to be instructed by.
In any case it would be a person who would be a Shiva category of being. This particular Shiva did not display himself in a dark blue complexion body. Instead it was a body made of sunlight, a see-through body, fully transparent. He did not say, “I bestow upon you full clarity to view through the divine eye.” Instead he radiated this information:
It is similar to its manifestation on the lowest of the astral levels, where one sees with it what one is attracted to and which indicates the type of live one will assume after being shifted from the present dimension one experiences as reality.
I asked a question:
That would make it difficult because usually a yogi does not have a reference from the higher dimension he wishes to be transferred to. In some cases the yogi does not know anything about that higher dimension even though he has a desire to relocate there.
The Shiva deity replied:
No matter where one goes, one needs parents for sponsorship. Somehow, one must connect to someone in the higher dimension. A developed interest in that place will cause the divine eye to contact that place.
I then said:
Please do sponsor me for relocation to your native place.
The Shiva deity did not reply or show an interest in this but there was an energy which he gave which was an encouragement/inspiration energy for me to continue the meditation and to make more deposits of interest energy at the third eye or into the intellect.
