Detecting Sexual Energies

In a recent conversation with a Yogi he shared some information about sexual energy. As Yogis or aspiring yogis it is important in understanding how these things work.

The Yogi gave an example of being in a departmental store and while browsing some piece of clothing the Yogi/Yogini made some form of contact with the opposite sex. It can be in the form of visual contact, conversation even casual or flirting.

This exchange of energy will manifest one way or the other. I will come back to this.

Now the Yogi/Yogini goes home and their other half might say something or do something as to show some form of intimacy. This reaction from the other half may not necessarily be from them but rather it was the exchange of the energy from the contact in the departmental store. The energy for or from the other person in the store is transferred to the spouse at home. This can go both ways. The spouse can also bring home this energy and it is transfer to the Yogi/Yogini.

This is not always the case but as Yogis and aspiring Yogis, it is important to understand these things. As per the exchange of energy with the other person in the departmental store. A samskara is created there and it will have to be settled one way or the other, either in this lifetime or some other time; or astrally. It may or may not be significant. 

Prakriti will keep account of it. How do we deal with it? We have to live in a material world and there will be social interactions.
