Deity Entered Subtle Head

On July 14th 2020, I performed the usual afternoon breath infusion session. Sun energy was infused into the subtle body, and kundalini was aroused multiple times. Upon sitting to meditate, I saw a giant face/head in the subtle head. It was the face of a being looking downwards at me. Its face/head was green and had indian/asian features.

Upon seeing this face, I became curious and attempted to focus on the details of the being’s facial features. As my focus strengthened, the face vanished. After this occurred, I continued to meditate and an environment was later perceived. It wasn’t vivid, but the perception was as if I was looking at a video tape of an area through a projection screen.

When this experience occurred, I was not aware as to who this being was. Many assumptions were made, but when I described the experience to Madhva. He clarified that it was a deity from a certain astral realm. The feedback was that “my subtle body’s energy changed at that time to the frequency level of that deity.” My experience is that when this occurred, the deity entered my subtle head, thus allowing me to perceive his/her presence.

This is a cherished experience of mine, since it occurred shortly after I began the practice. It served as a confidence booster, and encouragement during my earlier days of practice. To this day, I’m still unaware of the identity of the deity, but I'm grateful for the experience.

I once screamed loud in fear after seeing a woman’s head close to my face shortly after completing my morning session back in 2018. I still laugh at that experience to this very day…simply unforgettable because I was scared straight LOL—Between that and the first time Kundalini literally threw me on my ass, I’m not sure what scared me more lol. Madhva provided a similar explanation and I am no longer spooked by such occurrences. Thanks for sharing!

      • That’s hilarious! For me, I believe fears of that nature stemmed from my Christian upbringing. Where ghosts are considered evil and the “dead” is to be avoided at all costs. I’m gradually working through those conditionings, as I learn more about the astral realms through madhva’s books. And, ofcourse with direct experience which is of more value to me.

Interestingly, I don’t recall being fearful during the above experience. Though it was a first time encounter. I believe that I was in the mode of an observer. There was interest in who the entity was. However, there are no records in my notes of any thought exchanges nor any other forms of communications that transpired.

        • I also think that has a lot to do with my Christian upbringing. I was taught to use profanity at ghost when I feel them present. As you can imagine, I’ve cursed out a ghost or two prior to InSelf Yoga LOL. Understanding that energizing the subtle body leads to higher states of physic awareness and experiencing that  repeatedly placed my fears to rest.

        • Uniquely powerful experience and blessing!Definitely encouraging as well as confidence building for myself.Such an exaltation is worth its weight in gold. Very auspicious and special.
