A genuine look at this individual’s situation. He is analytical enough to understand the underlying reasons for his addictions.
It is so easy to be judgmental of the acts, in total ignorance or denial of the real person, trying to subdue their embattled psyche.
Understanding and compassion are antidotes to personal preconceived braises, and vain holier than thou snotty attitudes.
