Bowel Transit Ease

I have been traveling for days on end recently by car, and I find that this causes slower evacuations than my normal. As a solution I have been successfully using psyllium husk. It simply provides additional fibre to the diet, and promotes bulk formation. So, in particular with meals that lack sufficient fibre content, I will also add a dose of psyllium husk.

 

For those who want to give it a try, it the cheapest "laxative" and is said to be also a form of prebiotic, therefore healthy to the gut. Remember to follow directions for use in order to avoid unpleasant reactions, and please share your experience or comments.

    • Many things are done involuntarily in the body which we have hardly any idea of. The kundalini does so many things in the maintenance of the body as to make the coreSelf into a completely ignorant factor in the psyche. But the kundalini also neglects some facets resulting in those going haywire in the body because the coreSelf has rampant ignorance and therefore cannot in many cases do anything to help in maintenance. Part of hatha yoga practice is to become aware of what the kundalini does and to assist in these duties in so far as their neglect will cause disease and malfunction. Travelling is likely to cause slower bowel movements because the vibrations of the conveyance (cars etc.) disrupts the sensitivity of the cells so that the kundalini not only becomes distracted but is unable to monitor the bulk and petty movements of waste because the movements of the springs (shocks) in the vehicle create a counter vibration which dulls the signals which come from the colon and rectum. A man who used to drive a bulldozer once asked me about cures for constipation. I was unable to assist him because he was already taking a regiment of several powerful laxatives which were not effective to him. I did however bring it to his attention that so long as he continued driving heavy machinery, he could expect to be chronically constipated.
