    • The extreme frigid dunk itself can be envigorating as the body stress system becomes overwhelmed and needs to readjust and adapt. Supposedly that can have some good effects.

      The connection to religion is IMO like all things religion, though I respect their contributions to society, mostly bull. But let it be the opium of the people as one Karl Marx once said in the 19th century.
