Astral Guru Practice Review

Getting one’s practice checked periodically is a very good idea. One can get advice on how to correct methods and as well on how to move to more advanced stages even using the same methods or switching to new procedures.

What if the yoga teacher is not within physical reach or supposed he or she is deceased?

In that case one has to rely on mystic presence of the teacher, on astral communication.

How does one know if such psychic contact is not imaginary?

Simple, follow the advice for a time and observe if it gives the returns expected. If it does not then it may mean that your mystic ability is nil or faulty. If it gives the benefit intended, then you can rely on that communication which means that you could stay in touch with a deceased teacher or with one who is physically distant just by a mind-to-mind relationship.

An example is that one of my teachers, used to be astrally present when I did breath infusion practice which was followed by meditation. Suddenly I notice that he was no longer there during the sessions. This went on for about three weeks. Then I noticed that once when I did practice and there was an all-subtle body burst of bright kundalini energy, he appeared again. This time he descended from the sky. He did not say a word but his mood was that of someone who was pleased with something.

At the next session the same thing happened where suddenly after a sensational kundalini burst during breath-infusion, he appeared about ten feet to my left raised floating in the air.

I realized after this how this was happening. During those sessions, he sensed when the kundalini burst in a certain way moving the psyche to a certain level of consciousness. As soon as it reached that plane, my psyche became perceptive of him on that level. He became aware of me just the same.

The converse would be that if I did not have such kundalini burst my psyche would not perceive him due to not reaching that level of awareness. And he would not be aware of me because his consciousness was not tuned to the lower levels where my energy radiated.

There are many ways of reaching great yogis who are hereafter or who are not physically present. A student benefits from such contact.
