Affection for Animals Forms

    • Amazing! I enjoyed the video.

It is a whole different world for him!

Pigs are highly smelly. I guess wild boars are not any different.

What is the reason behind such a strong bond? Is it just a past life relationship or something more than that?

Did he manufacture an affection towards a boar to compensate some affection he missed in childhood or it is some attention seeking tendency?

Any domesticated animal which is treated kindly and is provided with ample food, will be affectionate to and accept affection from the caretaking human. No past life energy needs to be involved in this. But of course, there is pass life energy involved. It is just that affection and especially affection in the form of nutrition, causes attachment. There is little difference between an infant and an animal in this regard. The key is affection and satisfactory pacification of the tasting impulse.

Did he manufacture an affection towards a boar to compensate some affection he missed in childhood or it is some attention seeking tendency?

This man was affectionate as a matter of course but he must have some need to be affectionate and the boar became a victim of the man’s affection. We usually do not perceive that anyone can be a victim of or target of affection but that is due to the fact that we hesitate to condemn that which is pleasant or enjoyable.

For instance, many human beings become diabetic because of bad diet but these people may never openly condemn sweet foods and the like which accelerate their diabetic condition. Stated differently, we have a tendency not to find fault with what we like but we quickly pick a quarrel with what we dislike, even if that which we dislike is good for the well-being.

The boar for its part thinks that the man should be affectionate and should provide food on demand. We see the misbehavior of the boar when it wants food and feels that the man is not up and at it to provide meals. This attitude of the boar shows that as far as the boar is concerned the man is a provider on demand and nothing else. But the man does not care because it is tit for tat, where the man is fulfilled because he has affection energy which he must direct to someone, human or animal, even vegetation.

Sometimes a yogi must learn how to fold in certain needs and expression. Otherwise, the continued expression of needs will cause excessive involvement in nature’s concerns which will result to the progress being hampered.

Hard shell beetles have hard covers which drape their wings. The wings are rarely expressed, showing that the beetles are able to suspend their expression. A yogi should practice to pull in some needs or he will be forced by inner impulsive to get involved socially with humans, animals and vegetation, in a way which is disruptive to the yogic progress.

The boar will soon get a human body but he will be dissatisfied at that time, if his parents do not provide excessive food on demand. Then his body will be obese if things go his way or his body will be slim but he will be grumpy and unhappy if his parents restrict his meals.

        • Beautifully explained, glad I asked! Thanks for answering.

          • There is an interesting movie that might be called a fable about the relationship between a man and a pig. It's called The Pig.

            • Sounds interesting, I will check out
