When the external sound fades

[ ] Warm-up Surya Namaskar - 13 minutes (Beginning) -

[ ] Meditation Session - 15 minutes (End) -

[ ] Breath infusion - About 15 minutes (middle of session)

I wanted to mention that yesterday after chanting 16 rounds of 108 - Om Namo Shivaya - mantra I heard naad sound frequency later that day. This morning session even though it was kinda short, I experience the most deafening rise of all. It lasted about 30 seconds. The peak was about ten seconds. I heard naad in it, it was penetrating thru that deafening sound. That happen around 6:07 am. See chart below. I immediately sat afterwards. Meditation session was pretty quiet. Jaya Guru Deva

    • Okay this is good. Seems that you are getting back on track.

       

      Now when chanting Om namo Shivaya for this inSelf Yoga system, do not use beads. Beads will split out the attention and cause some of the energy to go into the beads and we do not want it to go there because this is a meditation process and not a japa (hear and chant procedure).

       

      Use one of two methods:

      • silent mental chanting with no lip movement, totally in the mind mental sounding only
      • murmur mental chanting with or without lip movement no sounding external and with the thumb making contact with each finger from the little finger and then to the others, not touching the nails but rubbing across the finger tips gently.

       

      use right hand only

       

      do at any place at any time you can

       

      (the mental attitude required when doing this is to talk to the mantra, saying, "I am a dumbshit. Please help me!"
