Nice intro to the origins of Advaita and its source. When I first became interested in yoga in this life. I thought that Advaita was synonymous with Yoga. At the time, I had no clue about the term Advaita, but I began to assimilate the teachings of famous gurus which I later learned was an Advaitic philosophy.

My experience is that some teachers do not provide these source scriptures to students to reference their philosophies. That creates a handicap for western students in particular, most of which are without a background in the Indian systems in this life.
