Comment to 'Great western philosophies'
  • Western philosophers made major and important contribution to the discourse about existence. Their special contribution is the range of vocabulary which trumped the Eastern reduction of vocabulary with its four or so words, like atma, jiva, prakriti and brahman.

Many Eastern sects, especially the ones from India have no idea about the Western development. The East remains bound by their claim to supremacy about wording what is absolute and what is insubstantial. The West drives ahead, while the East is stalled on the ice-ridge of brahman. The East cries out. "Stop! Stop! Our Shankara defined it all. There is nothing left to research. Our Vedas is the first and final word about this."
