So,. If the sense of identity is acting like magnet being attracted to iron particles (objects) in Beach sands (Prakriti), is there a way to reorient the magnetic behavior of sense of identity?

    Mi~Beloved’s Response:

A core self like a primitive human has no idea of how to generate electricity. And yet it is aware of the electricity through lightning and static discharge of electricity accidentally. But if a modern human meets the primitive one and shows how to generate electricity by turning some copper wires in a magnetic field, the primitive person may understand.

Eventually after some years, the primitive person may also understand what happens when current through wires cause an iron rod to turn.

By meditation, one may research this and get some understanding of how one could influence the sense of identity instead of being influenced by it as it is controlled by some other adjunct.

By tuning in to Naad, will the sense of identity lose it's magnetism for mundane things and be elevated?

    Mi~Beloved’s Response:

Tuning in to naad with intention to influence the sense of identity and also getting help from a yogaguru or deity could cause the sense of identity to lose its magnetism for mundane things. Many people hear naad and even listen to it and still we do not see that this behavior reduces their mundane interest. So there must be something else happening when one listens to naad before one can get the desired effect.

    • special language note

it's magnetism really means it is magnetism in English (‘s is the verb is)

but its magnetism means the magnetism of it (genitive case)

best way to figure which to use, is to say it is and if that is not sounding right, then use its. One other way is never to use it’s but use the full form of it is and use its as possession of something. It is a bit tricky how that was established in English

It is standard in English to use the apostrophe (') to show the genetive case but there are some exceptions for this and it's is one of the exceptions where it is not done.

Even though Aniruddha's sentence means the genetive case abbreviated, and its full form is

    the sentence of Annirudha

Still there are exceptions where it's is not allowed to be used for the genetive case and its is used instead, where that means of it and it's means it is.

Or it is not possible to reorient completely to lose interest in Prakriti because sense of identity is a creation of Prakriti?

    Mi~Beloved’s Response:

It is logic to say that it is not possible to lose interest in prakriti completely by the very fact that the adjuncts like the sense of identity are created by and in prakriti. However, there are various levels of the operation of the sense of identity and a yogi should shift to use the highest levels. When it comes to influence, a limited self cannot at any stage be without influence. But it can if it has the preference, shift to the highest possible influence. That is the practical way to aspire.
