“Seeing the impulsions and errors of a teacher is for learning how to avoid his mistakes but unfortunately many of us feel that such observation is for criticizing the deviant ascetic.”

I realize now that making a subtle jab to the guru was a grave error on my part. There’s no insight to be gained from criticizing his actions. I understand now that the value of the recall is the lesson gained from the observations.
