Zones of Core-Self and Deities
This is a description of zones of activity in the head of the subtle body. It is all about location and what happens in certain areas. This is not for imagination or visualization. If you cannot perceive these zones and their predominating personalities, then take this as mere information which you may use at a later date when the perception becomes self-evidence.
See this diagram:
Operation of the divine eye takes place in the Shiva Zone. The Vishnu zone is known otherwise as the naad sound resonance zone. It is a place of abstraction but it offers shelter to the core-self from the terrors of the ever-active spiritually-hostile mind.
Ultimately, with or without the assistance of the naad sound resonance, the core-self should challenge the mind. Stated according to the diagram, the core must leave the safe zone of the Vishnu deity and bravely enter the realm of Shiva, where it will be assaulted by the kundalini lifeforce’s agent which is the intellect.
The central zone which is tht smallest is the core-self zone. The core is squeezed between the Shiva zone and the Vishnu locale. To empower itself to fight when it shifts or is shifted into the Shiva zone, it should absorb energy from the Vishnu area.
The yogi should practice transferring focus into the Shiva zone. There should be no influence to alter the interest of the core. The focus should be a clean energy from the sense-of-identity. It should not be tampered by the kundalini.
In the Shiva zone, the yogi may feel a gap or blank space which is shaped like an egg or like this
The yogi should transfer or project clean sense-of-identity energy into that gap while he waits for the divine eye.
