Yogi Sleeping in My Psyche

One of my yoga teachers who is deceased, began living in my psyche some time now. I realized this one day, when I found him sleeping in the chest area of my subtle body. His head lay to the left of the chest. His subtle body was as small as that of a baby which was curled in its mother’s body. The body was in a fetal position as he laid there. When I first saw him, I also felt that he was involved in a deep healthy sleep.

Later the same day, my eyes shifted to look at someone. Then I realized that it did so because he wanted to see that person. He was in the left corner of my pupil and looked out to see. Did I give him permission to do this?

There never was any formal permission given. For that matter I do not recall discussing with him that he could share lodging in the psyche. However, it is a fact that in the subtle body, related persons may take residence with or with not having permission.

One cannot refuse certain people permission to reside in one’s psyche just as one may not deny an ancestor from using the body. The body is a joint enterprise with the prominent observer in the body, as only one of the persons who have rights to use that physical form.

On the day when I realized that this yogi resided in my psyche, it was some four hours after when he said this.

“I am here hiding from some persons who want to converse with me. They cannot find me, if I am in here. This is a hiding place. When they track my vibration, they will be unable to locate me here. I need to rest for a time. There are things to consider. As for my being here, it will not interrupt anything for you. Whatever you routinely do you can continue. If someone finds my astral place, that person can come to you. You can give instructions on my behalf. In the meantime, I review and test some samadhi practices. If I need to see any physical item, I will use your eyes. Do not worry about that. Conduct yourself as you normally would.”
