Yogi Residence

On August 13, 2025, Yogeshwarananda requested that I link the mindal space in my subtle body to his mental residence. This was like connecting a large tube from one building to another.

For some years now, Yogesh enters my psyche for various purposes. Some of which he did not explain. In this experience however, he requested that I should enter his psyche. This was like visiting the residence of someone else. The first thing of interest was that his place was empty. It was like a house in which all rooms were vacant of furniture with only walls and blank space.

When I noticed this, Yogesh quoted a statement from the Yoga Sutras.

योगश्चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधः॥२॥


yogaḥcittavṛtti nirodhaḥ

yogaḥ – the skill of yoga; cittavṛtti = citta – mento-emotional energy + vṛtti – vibrational mode; nirodhaḥ – cessation, restraint, non-operation.

The skill of yoga is demonstrated by the conscious non-operation of the vibrational modes of the mento-emotional energy. (Yoga Sutras 1.2)
