Yogi Mistreats other Species

This is a late report about meditation this morning. It was fairly okay. This was just after the breath infusion session. At first naad sound was in the back top part of the head but it seems to have two vortexes. I hesitated to move the core-self into one of the vortexes and instead tried to determine the distance these vortexes were from where the core-self was located in the psyche.

First I noticed that naad sound was outside of the psyche but still it was within reach, or so it seemed. I stayed listening to naad for about 30 minutes. It was streaming in and even though it began with two vortexes that did not last. It resumed just one node which is its usual configuration.

A node of naad sound is the place where it seems to originate. It is like a vortex where the sound is either coming from or going into. Visually this is seen by vibration vision and it looks like energy in micro-micro-dots or in micro-micro-lines.

Again today like yesterday, I found myself in the subconscious area down in the chest. In fact when I came out of this meditation, the head of my body was drooped over. My spine was still straight as far up as the neck. My tongue was pushed into the lower front teeth and was there in a stiff configuration.

Before I could do anything, a reflex kicked in which cause the tongue to pull back from the teeth and to be pinched since part of it was squeeze between the tiny crevasses between two teeth. That gave a sharp sting.

It was then that I clearly recalled what happened in the subconscious even though when I initially resumed physical body consciousness, I had lost track of what happened and it all seemed to be something subjective which could not be known.

As soon as that pinch of the tongue occurred, and the sharp tiny stinging pain of it passed, I remember clearly what happened in that samadhi. I was again in South America at about the age of 10 years of the physical body. It was a time when I explored the insect world without guidance from adults and with no consciousness of what was right and what was wrong in relation to small creatures. I held the tail of a house lizard and the creature lounged forward and a piece of its tail snapped off. I was surprised. I released that part of the tail which was about one and one half inch in length and it kept wiggling from side to side for a while and then went limp. Soon after this on another day, I held another lizard by the tail and the same thing happened. In the subconscious, this all happened like a film which was cut so that you could only see specific parts. Except that in this film, I was the actor and the audience all in one.

There was this guy sitting as the audience observing and then there was this other guy who was the same guy but he was doing the acting on the screen. So one guy was looking at another guy who was himself only.

Then it moved to another part of the movie where I caught a dragon fly and tied a string unto its tail and then released the dragon fly. Because the dragon fly was tied to a string which was about 3 feet long, it would only fly so far and then it remained flying but not moving away.

So during this experience, I got signal energy from Srila Yogeshwarananda. I did not see him but I know his energy, just as you would know who called you just by the tone of the voice through the speakers on your cell phone. Srila Yogesh said this, “These are crimes against other creatures. See what you can do to compensate this. These energies are limiting your progress.”

Before this happened, there was a time during the meditation when I looked forward to the third eye, brow chakra, and I saw a cloud of white light like when light is reflected in snow. It was outside of the psyche, right outside of the opening of the third eye. I tried to reach it but before I could do so, it was gone and the third eye tuned dark again. Then I resumed naad focus and the samadhi happened.

There is a nice verse in the Uddhava Gita, where Lord Krishna explained the effects of sincerely listening to naad sound (ghosam) and it might just be the reason why I am able to hear messages from yogis who are not visible to me either on the material plane or on the plane of the subtle body. Here it is:

भय्य् आकाळात्मद्भन प्राणे

भनवा घोऴभ् उद्वशन् ।

तत्रोऩरब्धा बूतानाां

शवो लाच् शृणोत्य् अवौ ॥१०.१९॥

mayy ākāśātmani prāe

manasā ghoam udvahan

tatropalabdhā bhūtānā

haso vāca śṛṇoty asau (10.19)

mayy = mayi — on me; ākāśātmani = ākāśa – atmosphere + ātmani — on myself; prāe — on the energizing airs; manasā — with the mind; ghoam — subtle sound; udvahan — continuous linkage of the attention with the concentrating force; tatropalabdhā = tatra — there + upalabdhā (upalabdhā) — directly hears; bhūtānām — the living beings; haso = hasa — advanced yogi who is compared to a mythical swan; vācah — speeches, sounds; śṛṇoty = śṛṇoti — hear; asau — that.

By continuous linking of his attention with the concentration force which is focused on subtle sound within the mind, and on Me in the spiritual atmosphere and in the energising energy, the advanced yogin directly hears the sounds of distant 1iving beings. (Uddhava Gita 10.19)

There is a verse by Patanjali which might explain how I was able to enter into the subconscious and synchonise into the past as if it were occurring right now:

परिणामत्रयसंयमादतीतानागतज्ञानम्॥१६॥

pariāmatraya sayamāt atīta anāgatajñānam

pariāma – transformation change; traya – threefold; sayamāt – from the complete restraint of the mento-emotional energy; atīta – past; anāgata – future; jñānam – information.

From the complete restrain of the mento-emotional energy

in terms of the three-fold transformations within it,

the yogi gets information about the past and future. (Yoga Sutra 3.16)

Dean's Question: This observing self, is it the "core self” seeing its material self (subtle/physical) acting out these scenes that Nature has set up in the material world?  There other thing that seems obvious is that this "recorder" is always on so what is the recording mechanism? Is it the buddhi organ?

And why are we not always consciousness that this recording device is constantly on?

MiBeloved's Response:

In this case the observing self maintains a dual presence and a dual observing capacity, to be two persons in one, to be the past person whom he was and to be the present person whom he is currently. He becomes aware of both persons and can match up to see the difference between how he acted as the boy person and how he is acting now as the adult yogi person.

This gives the yogi the opportunity to research as to what is just an accessory add-on identity and what is the real bare core-self identity.

The buddhi intellect organ is used in both cases but it is in a different configuration in each case because of the condition of the kundalini energy being different in each case.

Dean's Question: And why are we not always consciousness that this recording device is constantly on?

MiBeloved's Response:

We cannot be aware of this because usually we are extrovert and when we are introvert we are usually under hypnosis where we are compelled to look at live images on the screen of the mind. So long as our focus is like that the recording device operates silently in the background without our knowledge.

Nature has designed the system for our lack of observation of the recording device. That ignorance of it, is caused by nature’s action. Nature is disinclined to have us interfere with the recording device.

Even though there are cameras and sound pick-up devices in an airport, the persons who installed these do not want the public to be conscious of this. It is not in the interest of the security people to have you be conscious of this because they want to observe you in your natural behavior.

Nature abhors our interference in her affairs. She is conducting this creation and is not into divulging her system of operation to anybody.

MiBeloved's Response:

Please dump the idea of compensation and the idea of escaping reactions. That cannot happen so long as the yogi is in the realm where these unfavorable acts took place. But the same goes for favorable acts. There is no escaping these acts if the yogi remains in the realm of energy where these acts took place.

In Bhagavad Gita Krishna issued a disclaiming telling Arjuna that he accepts none of the results of the good or bad acts of the limited entities. Krishna said that but some teachers in the Krishna Conscious societies say that Krishna will remove people’s sins provided the person becomes a staunch member of a particular spiritual lineage.

And when some leader of these societies is intimidated by material nature because of some improper behavior which brings a bad reputation to the lineage, they quickly discredit the guy and say that he was offensive and that is why it happened. Really?

For detailed information about reactions, please read the Anu Gita because it is there, by the mercy of Krishna, that we can get insight into how this operates.

Compensation means that I have to secrete out energies which compensate exactly for the damage done to the insects whom I tormented, even though it was from a state of what people mistakenly called innocence.

I will have to reach the creature and repay for it in some way.

However if I qualify to leave these domains where the reactions will play out, then I will leave behind an energy which will go to the said victims and give them ample compensation.

Before a yogi can be a siddha, his energy of compensation must be such that it covers all these liabilities. The energy which is deposited by the yogi is then sent to the victims wherever in the subtle or gross material world they may be.

An example of how this works, is a baby. Sometimes a baby lies in a crib and then the baby smiles broadly for sometime without any apparent reason. Usually this happens because a happy energy has just reached the baby as compensation for some time when that baby was put into distress unfairly in another life or as a compensation for some unfair act done to the person in a previous life.. Even though the person from whom that compensation energy was derived might not be present, still the compensation finds the person to whom it was due, even though that person is in an infant form and cannot analytically understand where the energy came from or for what reason it was deposited.

These are very subtle matters, aren’t they?

-------------------------

As far as escaping from destructive anti-social or criminal acts, that is not possible. There was a discussion in the Mahabharata where Bhishma an old mahayogin, explained that people who think that they can say prayers, do religious ceremonies give in charity and other things to compensate for a bad act, are merely fooling themselves. He said that bad acts will reap bad result but if one performs a compensatory act for a bad act, what really happens is that the bad consequences find the actor any way and then whatever he or she did as compensation will come back to the act as a fortune event.

This means that as history is rolled out before me, I will be subjected to bad reactions for my bad acts and then after a time I will get good reactions for my compensation for the bad act.

This reminds us of something which was attributed to Jesus Christ, where he said something to this effect:

God is not ridiculed by anybody. Whatever you do which is criminal will bring unfavorable results and whatever you do that is beneficial will bring good results. But you cannot make an ass of the God by just doing bad acts and then running to do compensatory acts to escape your carelessness.

The biggest thinker, the most vicious person is God (or Fate if you do not accept that there is a God). So no one can do anything negative for which God (Fate) cannot give an ample compensation.

Once I realize that I did a bad act, then the next step is to realize that the only proper  recourse is to accept the bad reaction., If I upset the life of another creature, say that of a dragon fly, then I am interfering with God’s work, so I should expect a cut-ass from God. Why run off to prayer or to do some religious action or to sit in meditation imagining that I am some detached guy who cannot be affected by anything.

Are you kidding, you actually feel I can escape from the hands of God through meditation?

      Or through religion?

Or through any scheme which my little head comes up with?

Or do you feel that God is some nice guy, some Deepak Chopra?

God or Fate (your choice) is the thing that wholesales misfortune every moment of every day in this material world.

Dean's Question: Is it the realization that I will receive a bad reaction for my bad act help to create that energy of compensation?

      MiBeloved's Response:

This is totally incorrect; the realization that one will receive a bad reaction does not create an energy of compensation. What it does is that it just lets you brace yourself for the reaction like-a-man. Once I see that the man I shot should not have been killed by me, then I may assume a repentant attitude. I will wish that the act was not perpetrated in the first place. But the fellow is dead and gone now, his life opportunity forfeited by my act. I wish if I could give him back his life but I am not Jesus Christ. So the history of it is there in the universe. The universe, cruel master of circumstances, stern judge of acts, will keep that on record and work it out in its own way with me getting the shaft on the other end (which is the future which it will formulate with me as a victim).

Crying before a stern magistrate won’t do anything because in fact once he sees my tears, he might become more aggravated and dish out a longer sentence.

To create the energy of compensation, I have to first adopt a reformatory attitude about killing others. Then after that I have to begin working in a social way which uplifts others and then after a time of doing that, my social work in this way will pile up and I will amass a large overflow of compensatory energy. This is what is needed to pay off for the previous criminal acts.

For a person shooting for the siddha status, this also happens in another way, where the time spent for spiritual practice if it is more than enough for his individual self, will cause an excess bliss energy to be generated. This acts as a magic energy which when translated over into social force, serves as a compensation concentrate.
