Yogi Cosmic Bird

Srila Yogeshwarananda showed me some new ideas which abound among the siddhas about what a yogi intends to do or has accomplished. There are essentially two types of yogis who make it to the siddhaloka places. One type is the yogi who must again take rebirth in the physical existence. The other type is the one who will not take such rebirth because of having clearance from deities and yoga gurus and also from the proficiency of practice.

Besides these two yogis, there are the spiritual masters who remain in siddhaloka to supervise and teach students. These authorities remain there based on commands given to them by higher-ups who may be deities or may be other spiritual masters. Most of this is supervised by Lord Shiva even though a Vishnu personality may be involved in the decisions as to who will come and who will go, who will supervised and who will be released from teaching duties.

One type of yogi is represented in the top diagram below which has the arrow pointing downwards. His energies are focused into the material world. This is even though he is an elevated being due to his spiritual category out right or due to his evolutionary status where he gained the proficiency of much yoga practice but not enough to be released from interest in the material world. These persons do become yoga masters of repute and may also serve as worshipful personalities on earth planets.

In the lower diagram above you will see an arrow going upwards. This is actually a very graphic diagram with explicit explanation of what happens to this yogi. He is only concerned with what is not the psychic material existence in all its shapes and forms or the lack thereof. He has no interest in helping others to do yoga and he is not concerned with becoming a worshipful personality on the earth planets. His interest in our history is nil.

When one remains in siddhaloka and perfects the practices which one is inspired and instructed to do, at some point the energies of the self, curl upwards away from the genital join-section of the subtle body. These energies then coil towards the core-self which then flies away like a giant cosmic bird which is done with the material existence.
