Yoga or Business

Michael Beloved Obviously someone is confused where business enterprise is being mistaken for yoga. His life as a yogi when that is consistent with Patanjali is yoga. His life otherwise is not yoga but may be related to yoga because of his consistent practice early on and even now, if he continued as before in whatever time he allots for daily practice.

We should know that if a yogi is not carefully he will be swamped by ancestral energies such that his life will be hijacked and he will abandon the practice or do it superficially, and he will ardently get involved in social welfare and money (dharma/artha).

Michael Beloved The jump people make on a yogi to say that he is out of commission or is fallen, is the discovery that he is sexually involved with somebody. However any type of involvement even a non-sexual type may be a breach of practice and a loss of yogic focus. Hence even a person who is not sexually involved on the material plane may breach yoga through getting into business enterprises, social welfare projects and other such activities.

Bhagavad Gita addressed the issue head on with Krishna teaching Arjun how to do karma yoga or how to use yogic detachment and realization to monitor mandatory predestined activities in the social setting according to the duties which one is saturated with because of taking a body in a certain family.
