Waiting Hereafter

During an afternoon meditation after breath-infusion on May 28, 2016, a deceased friend and elder came to discuss the matter of waiting for me to depart from my body before taking another embryo.

I suggested that he not do this. I said that it is better to go on and take the next body because there is no telling when I will be on the other side permanently. It could be today or tomorrow or in some years according to the decree of fate. I added this:

“In any case, there is no guarantee that you can follow me astrally hereafter when I am departed. Suppose you cannot transit across the dimensions which I traverse, then what will be your lot? Then you would have waited with confusion.

As soon as I said this another elder and friend who is departed and who was familiar with many of the Puranic literature from India, came astrally. He was related to the one who came first. He then said forcibly that he regretted opposing me when some years ago while he used a physical body, he objected to some information from the Valmiki Ramayana which I mentioned and which was in contradiction to what Tulsie Das wrote in the Rama Charitamanas.

He said this:

Whatever little power I have over your fate, I will use to keep us together. We need your help. I sent him to appeals to you but since you are unwilling to help us and to keep us with you, then I will use my power to force you to do it.

Everyone has some little power and may use that as a matter of self-interest. It is in our interest to not take a body and to stay with you once you leave yours. There is a chance then that we will be on the right path. There is no one else whom we know whom we can follow. Most of these pundits are silly-heads. They are interested in promoting their families as brahmin caste exceptionalists. One cannot make advancement in their association. What do they know about meditation and transiting to the divine world? Never mind our faults. Never mind that on some occasions we sided with them against you. That is how the social situation works in this struggle for existence and in the bid to promote family interest. Teach us meditation.

I replied to him:

I do not object to your use of power in self-interest. That is natural. If you like you may come and meditate when I do so. If you tune in using your increased psychic abilities, then you will just know what I do and you can mimic what I do.

But as for following me later when I am deprived of my body that cannot be guaranteed. This much I can say, which is that I will not do anything to prevent you from following. But I am not responsible if you are unable to and if you get lost astrally as you try to do so.

What have I to do with you people anyway? Both of you are intrinsically materialistic and socially power-hungry. Yes, we were friends when you had the last bodies. Yes, you did cooperate with me here and there in trying to get the correct information to people who were in the Vedic religion. But this does not mean that I am responsibility for your advancement. I do not care about it. All the same if you can stay with me, then let that be as you wish.
