Supernatural Perception / Frustration

Incubation Period in Meditation
Can anyone be patient enough to wait in meditation until the supernatural senses develop?
This is an important question.
How patient am I?
How patient can I be for something that I am not sure off, something for which I got only miniscule glimpse, something which others spoke about, of which I have no definitive experience?
Patanjali gave the alert about ceasing the mental and emotional gyrations, which he listed as five aspects or types of operations:
Correct analysis
Incorrect analysis
Imagination
Sleep
Memory
These are afflictions which reach the core-self somehow or the other.
Still if we remove these, then what will there be? Right now these are the entertainment which keeps the self-involved and engaged. If we remove these completely will boredom set in, will a voidal state be our fate?
The answer is that no, one may develop a transcendental perception which has nothing to do with the material world. But this proposal has a down side, in that it does not mention how long it will take for the development of that perception.
If I want chickens and have none, if then I am given fertilized eggs, I would be closer to fulfilling my desire. How will it take for the development from a liquid in shell to an actual bird breaking out of a shell?

How long should I wait for the development of transcendental vision?
How patient am I?
Suppose the eggs were not fertilized in the first place. Then no matter how long I wait, I will never get my desire for flying birds.
During meditation, the student must have certain aspects for the development of transcendental vision. If those features are missing then no matter how long the student waits, it will be frustration all the way.
Patience is necessary for sure but patience alone won’t hack it, if some other aspects are absent.
The environment is there already, there needs only be a bird to use the air in it to fly away. The embryo bird has to be suitable, or it will develop and not have the means of using the environment.
Whatever supernatural or spiritual environment is in existence, is there already, wherever it is. That is there in some other dimension wherever it is. The student’s concern should be on there being the proper aspects during the meditation.
Looking here, looking there, for the supernatural or spiritual environments will do nothing to bring it into existence nor to accelerate the vision of it. If the perception is developed, then the student will see that supernatural environment. While if the perception is not there, then no matter where or how the student looks, the supernatural place or the spiritual perception will not be seen or utilized.
Should the embryo of the bird be concerned with what it should see once it can see or should it be concerned with development of the vision?

What are those aspects and how can the student be sure whether he/she have them or not?

MiBeloved's Response:
The subtle body has to be relocated to a higher plane, by any which means. Once that is achieved, then the thoughts and images concerning this level will cease.
The student can then honor the second sutra of Patanjali which is about shutting down the thoughts and images from this level.
Then after sorting the various components of the psyche, the student can take steps to bring the psyche in line with the requirements given in the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita.

Neo_Yogi's Query:
How can the student develop that perception?
MiBeloved's Response:
The perception is developed by staying in the naad sound or in the blank space at the black of the subtle head. This naad sound or location acts as an incubation period from which one develops the supernatural perception.
It is similar to how a fetus develops senses in the mother’s womb.
One has to stay for many meditation sessions in total mental non-imaging and non-ideation.

I read this and I would like more clarity in the following:
You don't have to prioritize this post, when you have extra time I would appreciate it.
What are the supernatural senses?
What is transcendental vision?
What is spiritual perception?
What is referred to a supernatural place?
The ideas sound very catch, almost like "give me a loaf of bread too", so I ask, why?

What about the immaterial or non-physical astral world that has no resemblance to the general operations of the physical world? Or maybe "Astral" is a curse word in these matters?
This is very strange because it implies you first need to strip away your humanity, that is, if you remove all those things in your list. Until it's done you won't be able to see, until this is accomplished you won't be able to see things away from the material world/perspective. If you do strip it away, and develop transcendental perception, then you will be able to see, but then..
Michael, aren't those teachers that you meet that spend their entire life doing this, aren't they in special regions of the astral, yet still in the astral? If so what are they doing there?
Some of these yogis would be in hiding it appears to me. Is the easy answer to say that, "some just didn't make the cut?"
If residing in the astral, all those things in the list exist in my opinion. It appears to me these teachers should still exist in there, yet in a very refined astral dimension according to their rules, and the rules defined by the aspects of the human psyche that they where able to purge while in a physical body, and nothing more. In this case, I am calling everything the astral. If it's not physical, it's the astral.
Take care!
I remind the rest of the readers that my perspective in these matters is not authoritative.

Jettins' Query:
What are the supernatural senses?
MiBeloved's Response:
Supernatural senses are senses of a supernatural body. This is similar to the sense of the physical body. As this body developed certain senses as part of it, similarly the subtle body has certain senses which it carries as part of it, all depending on the level of existence which it manifests on, and on the decrees of fate for the individual on that level.
In this physical world the normal situation is for every human body to have two eyes but we find that fate sometimes decrees that a human being is born without eye sockets or with eye sockets which are nonfunctional.
Astrally one may go to a place where there is no astral vision for oneself while others have astral vision there. This is developed naturally in the subtle body.

Jettins' Query:
What is transcendental vision?
MiBeloved's Response:
Transcendental vision is vision of spiritual reality, vision of spiritual objects in a spiritual environment. In comparison, physical vision is vision of physical realty, vision of physical objects, shapes and colors in the physical environment.
================
Jettins' Query:
What is spiritual perception?
MiBeloved's Response:
Spiritual perception is the perception used when one is using a spiritual body. When using a physical body we use physical perception and in that there is no vision of spiritual objects. But it is the same thing the other way around, where when using a spiritual body there is no perception of physical objects.

Jettins' Query:
What is referred to a supernatural place?
MiBeloved's Response:
A supernatural place is a location which is in the vibration between the astral and spiritual. First from where we are there is the physical vibration, then there are various types of higher, lower or median astral vibrations. Then there are locations which are subtler than the astral places. These are the supernatural places. Then beyond that there is the highest vibrations which is the spiritual world.

MiBeloved's Response:
Yogis who are serious and who have the power to resist the astral facilities, but who must remain on those levels for one reason or the other, hide out there, do very little social participation and practice the austerities through which they will ultimately graduate from those regions and go to higher places.
Let us answer the question in terms of the physical level and apply our understanding of that to the astral planes. For yogis on the physical level: Are they doing what other non-yogis are doing on the physical plane?
After seeing a sick man on the physical level, humanity took many thousands of years and then came to the accomplishment of building hospitals, but Buddha, a yogi renounced a comfortable life in a royal family and went to forest to deprive himself of luxuries.
After seeing a dead man, humanity after thousands of years built a funeral parlor, a casket and cemetery, but Buddha simply went into isolation and began to pry into the cause of death.
After seeing a renunciant who was unwilling to participate in social living, humanity set up a psychiatric clinic to re-orient disillusioned people to society, but Buddha suspected that there was some other reality which attracted the renunciant and he went to investigate about this by mystic means.
The yogis whom I see on the astral planes are not interested in those levels, no more than a yogi who has a material body is interested in the social advantages of civilization. They are on the astral planes either because they have to be there or because they were assigned that as their residence for the purpose of being available to students who need their teachings and methods.
As I spend most of my time in the physical world with a disinterest in social life, so they also spend most of their time in the astral world with a disinterest in the astral social societies.
The specific astral place which is desirable for yogis is the siddha loka places. These are astral planets where everyone living there, is interested and practices yoga. All other of the astral places are undesirable to a yogi.
