Sun Face in Meditation

During meditation on August 8, 2017, I had a vision of a sun-face. This is the clear-sight full center vision, where the front energy of the psyche converts into pure vision and what is seen outside the psyche is a sun-faced deity shining in all directions.

I was caught off-guard by this. At first I thought it was a bright sunrise seen from a beach as one looked towards the horizon. I felt a bliss energy and clarity force. This made me realize that it was a vision from another dimension and it was not a physical sunrise. The deity was all there in smiles, beaming. This was at 5 am at a location where the sunrise was at 7am.

My psyche became a small sun-being. This lasted for about ten seconds only, like an extended flash of lightning but it was clear and definite, not illusory and fleeting. Immediately after the psyche switched down to a lower plane and the meditation continued as usual.

Failure to maintain such vision is a sure problem for a yogi. The question arises as to why a yogi cannot maintain such apparitions for a time, say for five minus or one hour. The answer is that so long as the yogi has lower energy content, the psyche will resume those lower levels and cannot maintain itself on the highest planes.

Still, the effort to eliminate the lower contents step by step should continue. Any apparition which occurs serves the purpose to enthuse the yogi, to inspire him to boost practice and hold steady with austerities which promote higher experiences and cause more defocus from lower realities.
