Spiritual World Inhabitants

It is difficult to get clarification about the spiritual world. That is if there is one in the first place. It is very interesting how in astronomy, there is speculation about what might be on the other side of a black hole, which is massive power, more than any human being can imagine or perceive.

But how can we get information about what is on the other side of some reality, or unreality, of which we are a part. If the other side has the same type of principles as what we endure, then our speculation about the other situation would be valid to a greater degree, otherwise not.

Students may ask a teacher for clarification about what life is and how life functions in the spiritual world. The teacher may quote writings from India and elsewhere. The teacher may cite personal experiences of himself (herself) or of other reliable agents.

A thought, which was a question about this, occurred in my mind all of a sudden on November 2, 2015. I decided to deal with it by composing this article.

There are a handful of entities from this creation who are in the spiritual world, who translated over to that side of existence, but only a handful. The concept which is spread by many teachers that many people from here who are in a certain religion or lineage went, or will soon go, to the spiritual world is total nonsense. It is near impossible for any of us to go to the spiritual world with a spiritual body which has limbs and senses.

The first mistake teachers make when they issue this easy passage to the spiritual world ideas, is the assumption that the deities who reside in the spiritual world are interested or are aggressively recruiting people from here to go there to be servants of divinity. This is totally illogical. It makes absolutely no sense First of all when one is in the spiritual world, one has no awareness of the material world, no concern with it or with the people in it. The deity has some concern, for sure, but it is not the type of puppy-dog love concern which we are engaged in the material world. Hence when we consider that the deities is interested in making us love him or her so that we can translate over there, our view is irrational because it does not apply to anyone in the spiritual environment. Love as we know it here is not the same as love as they know it there.

The second problem with these ideas about easy transit and aggressive recruiting by deities for us to go to the spiritual world, is that right now we are in the spiritual world except that we are there without function, without conscious relationship to anyone there. We are in the spiritual world but we cannot know that we are because we are cordoned off or quarantined by massive ignorance which surrounds us on all sides.

Does this mean that this ignorance is in the spiritual world? The answer astonishingly is that it does mean that. The material nature, the gross and psychic portions of it, are in the spiritual world and are part of the spiritual reality. This might be difficult to swallow, but based purely on my word, my reliability, you can just believe what I say even though you have no evidence for it. In some lessons, one has to have faith in the teacher.

When I was a boy, my mother, very convincingly, with smiles on her face, said that Santa Claus would come down the chimney on Christmas Eve night. I believed her. Actually in retrospect that was crazy because in the first place we lived in a small town which is located, very near, within say about five degrees of the equator. There, no one uses chimneys, as they do in the northern hemisphere. And yet, I believed her. So in this spirit I ask the students to just ride along in this discourse with me and just for the moment, believe whatever I have to say.

It is okay, belief even in what is not true won’t hurt you because I am not badly motivated, no more than my mother was.

In the spiritual world, there are the Personalities of Godhead but not all of them are governing functionaries. Some are there without governing needs or functions. In the spiritual world there are also persons who are not Personalities of Godhead. But only a handful of the people there were persons who translated over from here, from the mundane evolutionary cycle. There is no rush for people from this side to go to that side. There is no deity in the spiritual world, who is in want of servants from the material world.

Your best bet, the most realistic thing to aim for is to go to the highest psychic material dimension. Even that is hard to attain for any of us, so there is no question of the spiritual world being within easy reach. Even in the higher material dimensions, no body there, not the deity, not anybody, is in need of servants from the lower material nature.
