Reaching Swarga Angelic Paradise

In the least, a yogi should reach the Swarga Angelic Paradise world which is managed by the Indra Deity (devata). Arjuna and his brothers reached that place as the first heavenly world they experienced after leading their material bodies. Their conjoint wife, Draupadi was seen in that place as a feminine wonder, a goddess of fortune.

There are those transcendentalists who in the habit of their teachers, berate that place and consider it to be nothing worthy of attainment but they fail to explain why the Pandavas reached that place first.

A student yogi should do well enough to at least reach this place but if he or she is unable to go any further, it is an insight that the spiritual practice was short of proficiency for becoming a siddha. Going to such a paradise after death and going no further is a sure indication that one may have to take another physical body to make further progress. In the Swarga Angelic world, there is no tendency for yoga practice. The condition of the subtle body there does not permit anyone there to do yoga. There is it is all about sensual pleasures without moral repercussions, as afforded by the condition of the astral body in that place. However this place is visited by great yogis and by higher deities from time to time. Lord Krishna visited that place, even while his supernatural physical body was present here. On one occasion, Krishna went there with Satyabhama, one of his principal consorts.

Arjuna visited that place just before the Battle of Kurukshetra. Because Arjuna kept his human-society moral reference, when he was at this heavenly place, he offended an angelic woman and was cursed to be a eunuch for one year while on the earth plane.

On the early morning of October 16, 2015, I was questioned about this place by a student yogi who recently departed from his material body. This person was in a formal kriya lineage and also got instruction from me in breath infusion and meditation. He came early that morning to do breath-infusion practice while I was committed to the same. I practiced both the physical and subtle bodies, while he practiced only the subtle body because his physical system is deceased.

He asked:

Why was I not able to go to a heavenly place after I lost my body? I feel that at least I should have gone to the Swarga Angelic paradise world. I experience no heavenly world thus far. My only experience is of the subtle dimension which I experienced before as the dream dimensions. Can you explain why a visit to a heaven did not happen?

My response was:

The reason for your lack of a visit to such place is your astral body’s diet. Your astral body acts as if it is a physical form. It eats as if it is a physical body. So long as the astral body keeps eating as if it is a physical body, it cannot have the energy level required for the Swarga Angelic world. The Hindus have a belief about sanctified food which they terms as prasadam or persaud. The idea is that this food is offered to the deities of heavenly world, and then when it is sanctified in ceremony, it is worthy of giving the devotee contact with the world of the deity.

I cannot say if this will happen as they believe but I can tell you this much. In the Swarga Angelic world, they do not eat heavy astral food. There are no heavy protein foods like those of human beings. Hence so long as the astral body feels the needs for the earthly way of eating, it is hardly likely that the person would experience a heavenly place.
