Quest for a Body

After being deceased from this side of existence, someone may find a compelling need to again be a physical being. This may happen even to persons who were determined not to be physical again. The determination to remain aloof from taking another body may be cancelled by the urge for physicality. If that happens, the desire to exist without physical hassles will be ineffective.

Once when I was simultaneously aware of the physical and the psychic sides of existence, a man who was deceased sometime now, appeared to my right. Simultaneously, a deceased lady whom I knew appeared to my left side.

The man wanted to be near the woman but she resisted his advances. I realized that the lady came to do meditation practice at Yogeshwarananda’s ashram. The man knew that she came there and waited to greet her at the place. Seeing him and not wanting to communicate with him, the lady came to where my subtle body was doing breath infusion practice.

It was then that she appeared to my left. But the man, who I knew as well, came to my right. Suddenly he changed and was a year-old infant. He moved himself to her body by her breasts. There was no maternal energy exuding from her bosom. He was near it but there was no energy there to encourage him to be her infant.

Getting no maternal response from her subtle form, he fell away and appeared again as an adult male to my right. I continued doing breath infusion exercise and gave some instruction to the lady. I then flashed a question to the man, asking him mentally why he harassed the lady and pressed himself in an infant form near her breasts.

This is what he said.

‘I could not help myself. I saw her at the astral ashram and was attracted to her, for her to be my next mother. When I assumed the baby form, that happened spontaneously. I did not plan it. It happened in a flash. I hope she forgives me.’

After he said that, he faded from the place. I was there with the lady. We discussed some of the techniques for breath infusion in the subtle body. Then she wanted me to examine her breast. I did so by looking at them using astral perception. There was no maternal energy in then. She then said this.

‘I have no interest to assist that man. There is no feeling for him to be my child. The breasts are present but they do not have the same urges as when I had a physical body.’
