AM Practice
Woke up at 5:00 AM (Brahma-muhurta). Quality of practice was good. It consisted of 65 minutes in a motel room with the air conditioning off and the window open.
Svadhyaya: Continued with the study of “Meditation Pictorial”, Chapter 13.
Dedication: Practice dedicated to Lord Shiva after 5-minute mantra incantation and prayer.
Breath Infusion: 30 minutes (1-hour) of Bhastrika prânâyâma in various asanas with no interruption. Kundalini was solicited successfully 2 times. Meditation followed immediately.
Question: I notice that as Kundalini is raised more than once in one practice, it becomes more difficult to do it after the first time, or it does not rise with the same force. Is that a common experience?
Meditation: 30 minutes meditation in shavasana (cadaver position = reclining). Concentration was taken slowly to the back of the head. Naad sound was very loud, coming from the left ear. Meditation consisted of anchoring to naad until it waned away, then on concentration on the back of the head.
Note: I noticed an increase in the perception of Naad after the 60-minute pranayama practice yesterday, not only during meditation, but also during normal waking hours, when it is heard rather loudly at all times.
Dream recall: One dream clearly recalled of nightmarish import. Logged in dream log.

MiBeloved's Response:
This holds true for a period of practice, perhaps for about a period of two years to six years. After that the natural configuration of the kundalini and sex hormone system will be disrupted and kundalini will no longer store energy below the small of the back with intentions of releasing this energy in one burst and then work to store energy again and then release it again.
Kundalini has developed the habit of storing sex hormones in the male bodies and then releasing that in one orgasm after which the body gets tired, takes rest, eats more food, accumulates more hormone energy and then has another burst of orgasm of this energy.
Since that is its habit, then it takes time for this to change this. At least now the energy is bursting up the spine rather than through the sex organ chakras.
Your accomplishment at this stage is that you have observed how kundalini operates. Now you can study it further and work to change it but in that work you are going up against millions of years of evolutionary development and that cannot be changed overnight by any yogi, even great yogis have difficulty with this.
And besides your ancestors are against you changing that system anyway. What makes you think that you can successfully beat back the ancestors in their claim on the body and their desire to use the body in the evolutionary way for reproduction of other bodies which they so badly desire?
Okay, so be cool-headed about this. Don’t try to disenfranchise souls on the astral planes who have rights to use your body to get bodies for themselves.

The objective (s) here are unclear.
Is the practitioner addicted to the rush energy to the degree that he wants to experience it more than once in a day.
Why is there such a pursuit after MORE..including more bliss.
perhaps I am missing something here, but it seems like there might be something to learn here..
Years ago when we were living in Northern Minnesota where the air is clear and the trout streams flow to the north, Michael wrote this little song.. I only remember one line of it...."If love comes once a day, that's enough for us".
for me it spoke volumes about my own ambition , lust, and greed....

The practitioner has been instructed on several occasions to raise up Kundalini through Sushumna once or more times daily. He is not addicted to any rush energy, as this indeed is hard work, that brings little or no bliss, but the practitioner does it as instructed in order to bore sushumna open, a process that takes months if not years. Alas, the practitioner has questioned in the past his filing daily reports, for they become dull, drab, repetitious, as often the practice is, but he also has been instructed to continue doing so, and as such he will. He is a newbie to Kundalini Koya, however a determined one, but he does not compete with others, nor even with himself, his practice now moving from mediocre to intense, as described by Patanjali.

The instructions are valid and you should keep going strong with it. Do not be discouraged even when there are critical criticisms.
Kundalini has an addiction to the rush and it will influence the psyche, not necessarily the core self, but the psyche and even the cells in the physical body to focus on the rush. This habit of kundalini has to be reformed and then something else will happen during practice or better, there will be a change of attitude of the core-self because then kundalini will present the infusion of breath energy and the response it makes to that in a different way.
Ancestors have an impact due to their innate rights to use the forms of their descendants and in some cases, with these people; one will lose a battle or two.

ulimitedsun’s Response:
Considering my experience it is common for the two of us. But on the other hand it really depends for me on how well the system is up to getting charged. So there are those instances when kundalini will raise forcefully once and then it is difficult to get it to raise again at least with the same intensity or more. There are also those instances where it can raise so long as the session is going strong.
In the latter, different areas of the body have been targeted and then kundalini is solicited after some time and more breath infusion. It is possible that doing the same area will raise it again and again, but I tend to move from area to area, trying to get around in a given amount of time so I wouldn't know.
And, of course kundalini is forever unpredictable it seems, so there is no telling. However, I have noticed so far that there tends to be a minimum level of consistency, it is not all up-hazard. For some time, it may behave in a certain way, and I guess as things change with the practitioner it will change in behavior also.
Indeed, there was a time period during which I felt that I mainly had one bullet and would think about the best time during the session to shoot it up. But it is actually possible to reload, recharge the system and make brain numbing detonations further.

Kundalini Rise Formula |
|
Beginner |
breath energy + sex hormone concentrate + kundalini |
Intermediate |
breath energy + partially distributed sex hormone + kundalini |
Advanced |
breath energy + fully distributed sex hormone + kundalini |
Special Notes:
Breath Energy:
Breath energy means breath energy which is accumulated in the psyche by using a method such as bhastrika, kapala bhati or anuloma/viloma pranayama. This must be a tight infusion so that each in-draw of breath is compressed into the previous one, with none of it being released back through the lungs. It has to be like compressing air into a tire which has an efficiency valve which does not allow any air which is put into the tire to escape. The tire must also not have any puncture holes and that is achieved by doing the locks. The basic body-locks are the anus lock, the sex lock, the navel draw back lock, the stomach pull up under the rib cage lock and the neck lock. These are the basic ones and there are others.
There must also be the mind lock which is to lock the attention down mentally so that it does not drift either to external object or to thought objects. The yogi should focus the mind on the breathing and the accumulation of the breath energy and any other psychic developments which occur during practice.
Sex Hormone Concentrate:
This is the hormone energy which is produced and conserved in the body for use in sexual indulgence. At the beginner’s level this energy provides one or more kundalini rises during practice and then the student finds that there is no more charge. This is because this sex energy is used out, just as it would be in one grand orgasmic climax experience during sexual intercourse and then the system collapses and becomes reluctant to continue because the energy was exhausted.
On the next day, after this energy has accumulated again, the system will again discharge that energy and the same exhaustion of its supply becomes manifested again.
Partially-distributed Sex Hormone
This is in the intermediate stage. In that state because of having done the breath infusion for some time the generic attitude of the cells in the sexual reproduction system changes so that there is a reluctance to store up so much of the sex hormones. Thus some of this energy is distributed in the blood stream and only some of it is stored for sexual expression.
This means that the yogi finds that when he or she does the exercises, there are charges of energy as if kundalini is rising in other parts of the body and also the charge of energy up the spine may not be as intense. The student finds that the one or two charges of energy do not occur in the same way anymore.
Fully-distributed Sex Hormone
This is in the advanced stage. What happens here is the sex hormone accumulation system is disrupted so that the body no longer holds a reservoir of sex energy for use in sexual climax expression.
Hence when the yogi does the practice he or she finds that the infused breath energy locates the charge hormone energy anywhere and everywhere within the psyche. There is no primary focus as before on just the spine sushumna nadi system. There is no longer that one rush of energy or two rushes of energy, but instead even from the very start of practice, there are kundalini strikes all over because the energy is distributed all over the psyche and not just in the area of the sex organs and the spine.
Precaution:
Students who use the anuloma/viloma pranayama method of alternate breathing should note that this does not work if you do not persist with it for about at least 45 minutes and you must keep a tight count and must not allow the air which is drawn in to escape back out of the lungs. If this practice is not done efficiently then nothing will happen because that would be like air up a tire and having a leaky valve or having no valve at all. In that case, the tire will never air up.
So why do I list this method if I have little confidence in it?
The reason is that it is a valid method. It is just that if you do not have patience to keep the count and if you are not capable of such concentration, this method will not work.
==========================
In this method you have to first close the right nostril with the right thumb
Then breathe in through the left nostril
Then close that nostril with the little finger
And hold that air in the lung and direct that the lung absorb it.
Once the air is absorbed release the thumb from the right nostril and exhale through that nostril.
As soon as the exhale is finished inhale through that same right nostril
When sufficient air has entered close that right nostril with the right thumb
Then when that inhaled air is absorbed, you should release the little finger from the left nostril
Exhale the air through that left nostril
Then inhale air into that nostril and close it off with the little finger.
Then when that air is absorbed release the thumb again from the right nostril and exhale that air.
From here this is repeated again and again without any breaks.
=========================
The yogi must control his mind and keep it tied so that it keeps track of the absorption and expulsion of the air.

My head bows...tremendous help by both Gurubhai Surya and Yogiraj!
From Gurubhai's daily sharing, it seems he is consistently at the partially-distributed towards the fully-distributed stage.
From Yogiraj's explanation, this practitioner is at the early stage of sex hormone concentrate, and the original question above may be an inkling of early redistribution syndrome from the extended, one-time, 60-minute practice from yesterday.

unlimitedsun's Response:
Yes, I have shared an hypothesis that if true the progressive clearing of obstructions as the body cleanses would allow the energy to rise promptly and more easily.
So, there are times when I have reported that the energy started rising from the start of the session, during warm-up.
In my level of perception, acknowledged assimilation of things as well as advancement, it is all at the gross level. There is some effective raising of the life force energy through the body, in different ways. However, at the same time there remains an efficient production of seminal fluid in this system.
Therefore, what level I am on? Certainly if seminal fluid production is maintained in the normal organic location that is, then so is the hormonal production, implying that the latter would not really be distributed either. What went amiss? Nothing!
As previously explained by Yogiraja there are external forces at play, so not to worry then? What is one to do? Is it okay to inquire as to how to approach that situation? Does one simply keep practicing and not cry about it? Is this where one prays to Mahadeva Sivah, if so how? How best is such done? Would that necessarily work? Or does it come right back on the shoulders of the practitioner?
Is it even realistic to talk of stopping the production of seminal fluids in the male form for a normal ordinary fellow doing usual living activities? I know that I have been directed to sincerely inquire of Mother Nature as to an answer for myself and that this will help me much. So far, and perhaps or probably it is still too soon, but the answer seems to be that I still need to respect the initial configuration of the bodies for evermore.
Such configuration alteration the beginning ground works of which take place with the physical that is derived from the subtle won't be overnight. The subtle, namely the psyche of it has form impressions of innumerable lifetimes. But is there anything that can be attempted to assist besides dealing with kundalini which is only one component of the equations? Are there other factors that can be addressed as well?
I am sorry for the extended comment and confusion. Ultimately, it would appear that the different levels of beginner-intermediate-advanced can and will overlap invariably, especially during transitional phases.
