Power of thoughts

One feature of meditation practice which is a sure upset and which causes years of failed practice, is thoughts.
Thoughts are powerful and carry an attraction energy which causes the observer-self to be glued helplessly looking at the thoughts.
Many meditation teachers gave methods of thought control or thought denial. Some even give methods for detached thought observation. This all proves one thing:
Thoughts are a cause of failure of meditation practice.
Over the past week and especially this morning, I was able to crack part of the puzzle regarding the power of thoughts over the observing self.
Wherefrom this power?
The power of thoughts is multi-sourced, meaning that the power comes from more than one agency. This applies equally as well to foreign thoughts and local thoughts. Local thoughts are those created in the mind of the individual itself, either deliberately by the individual or non-deliberately by some agency in the psyche of the individual.
Foreign thoughts are those which enter the mind of the individual but which come from another psyche, from some other person.
I was able to make this keen observation this morning because of some recent success I had with breath infusion practice, where the infusion causes the buddhi analytical orb to cease its operations.
To admit honestly, I had an idea that once the buddhi ceased its operations once it was silenced, then thoughts would not be perceived in the psyche. This idea is only partially correct. Now I can state conclusively that when the buddhi intellect orb ceases its operation, local thought cease but foreign thoughts continue to penetrate the psyche as usual.
Shutting down my mind does not mean that I have shut down the mind of any other person. Hence all other thoughts of all other persons may proceed with full force as usual. In fact thoughts which any of these other persons have which relate to me will find me even though my intellect is shut down, and even though my intellect cannot illustrate such thoughts to me.
I was in meditation with the buddhi intellect organ shut down, and then I noticed about three thoughts in the mind-space of the psyche. They were floating about like feathers which were picked up by a strong wind and which continued to float in the air.
There was however a noticeable difference in these thoughts. They did not have a power of attraction as they used to. This is because they were not reinforced by the buddhi intellect organ.
My discovery was that the buddhi intellect organ empowers thoughts to attract the observing self. When that organ is no longer in operation, a thought-package may even penetrate the individual psyche but it is limp without any of the juicy attraction force which thoughts have which are assisted by the analytical orb.
Is this realization important?
