Pleasure/Objectivity

What is the relationship between pleasure and objectify.

Is it something like this?

pleasure = loss of objectivity

Or is it like this?

pleasure = some loss of objectivity

Or is it like this:

pleasure = more objectivity

Does it vary according to the type of pleasure?

Do you have the same objectivity when eating salt as when eating sugar?

Are you just as objective during sexual pleasure as you are when eating dinner?

When something is inversely proportionate to something else, then we have a situation where the first item goes into reverse when the second item moves forward. Or the second item goes into reverse when the first item moves forward. The rate of travel of one of the items is related to the forward or backward movement of the other.

If for instance my objectivity during sexual intercourse is inversely related to my absorption of the pleasure, then it means that an increase in that absorption would result in a drastic reduction in objectively or even in the total absence of objectivity.

A subjective state is not always lacking insight consciousness. In fact in many subjective meditative states, a yogi might experience greater insight consciousness. However usually a subjective state carries with it no insight even though there might be feeling of intuition.

All the same, objectivity, because it has the conventional of having an interest in gross reality, does not give insight consciousness usually. It is a challenge to be objective and to be not focused on gross reality. It is corresponding challenge to be subjective and to have insight consciousness simultaneously.

The question holds:

What is the relationship between your involvement in pleasurable states and your objectivity?
