This is a very sad story. Here in Spain we are having similar stories about people jumping off buildings because they are being evicted from their home by banks just because they can't pay the mortgage...

MiBeloved, what happens in the afterlife to this people who commit suicide? Do they 'wake up' on the other side just like someone who has had a natural death? Is any different?

Neo_Yogi's Query:

MiBeloved's Response:

There is no difference for suicidal persons, they too find themselves without the body as soon as the body is killed by their agency. If someone kills my body in a murder, then when I pass off to the astral world, I will find myself without that body. Now if on the other hand I take an action to kill my body, then I will also find myself in the astral world without a physical body.

Suicide, unfortunately, is a total rip off for those who feel that they can adjust or change their circumstance through it. There is absolutely no change on the psychological plane when one commits suicide. One moves on to that astral world with the same feeling, the same resentments, the same frustrations and so on. They do not disappear merely by suicide.

Committing suicide is okay if you completed the purpose for which you took the body. This is not just the spiritual but also the social purpose. If I have not completed that and say that I took my life 20 years before it would have naturally expired, then it means that I will go to the hereafter with an assignment hanging over my head.

This will cause two problems:

·       The need to get another body to complete that 20 years of accomplishments.

·       The inability to assume an embryo because the subtle form has not exhausted the life’s mission.

So what does this mean in real terms?

Well I will cite my own life to show what would have happened to me if I had killed my body say in the year of 1969.

Okay so this body took tangible form in 1951, at its birth. So for some reason some 18 years after, I got this idea to kill this body. I was thinking like this:

Material existence is a pain in the arse. Why should I remain here with all the hassles and inconveniences? Let me kill this body. I will kill this body and go to a higher plane.

Okay so now this body lived until this year at least which is 2012. So from 1969 to now 57 years past where there were social and spiritual fulfillments.

If I had killed the body, then the need for those fulfillments would have remained. Furthermore I would be stalled on the astral planes because my subtle body, not having the energy of those fulfillments, would assume a vibration which would have made it near impossible to become someone’s infant. I would be stalled on the astral plane with a feeling of being undone, a feeling of having not done what I should have acted out?

Thus killing the body is only okay if you have already completed the fulfillments and if you did, then nature itself would kill the body anyway, because nature is aware of the balance of energy which is left for a particular life. Nature has psychological sensitivity.

Look in my books Astral Projection, Meditation Pictorial, sex you! and Anu Gita Explained. There is more information there.

Some old bags end up in a nursing home or a place for the elderly and then that person gets lonely, losing a sense of purpose because of being quarantined from the rest of society, especially from younger bodied persons. Okay but then when that elderly person commits suicide the condition will continue because that person’s astral body will have a similar elderly appearance. It will experience the same segregation in the astral world, because youths hang out together and they do not like to mix with old bag looking astral bodies.

Suicide in that case will not solve the problem.

================

What has happened is that in the developed countries, old bodies are generally carted off to old aged home, or homes of the elderly. Once when I lived in Port Charlotte Florida, a few old bags used to ask me to accompany them to a place for the elderly where they visited elderly relatives.

It was a very dismal and sad place, and I was told that some of the persons there were dumped there by their youthful relatives who brought them there from cities in the USA. So these are cruel acts but in the developed countries these might be trendy incidences for the younger generation.

They are short sighted and have no idea that their bodies will deteriorate and they will have to face the same music some years hence.

However, if you understand reincarnation, then why would you commit suicide? Obviously you will think it over seriously before you do it.

You cannot kill the self by killing the physical body. You cannot change the general profile of the self by killing the physical body. Hence what is the value in suicide? But all the same why is this happening mostly in the developed countries.

Why have we designed a civilization which is hostile to infants and elderly? As soon as our infants are born, we cart them off to daycare just as if they are baby chicks produced from incubated eggs.

Is this really the hallmark of an advance civilization?

Should I understand that the situation is the same even for that people who are tetraplegic or severely ill (their body is a complete hindrance for them) and want to be euthanized?

Neo_Yogi's Query:

MiBeloved's Response:

In all circumstances at death, whatever the psychological condition is, that continues after the physical body is lost. One does not assume a new psychological body at death. One has to use the same psychological body in whatever condition it is in.

In some cases where for instance a person lost a limb, say due to diabetes, then the psychological body may have that limb, and if it does then after leaving the body, the person will find a resumption of the use of the limb in the hereafter.

The physical body influences the condition of the subtle body but in some events the physical system does not express that influence as in the case of a person who lost a limb and who experiences a phantom limb. The so called phantom limb is actually the subtle or psychological limb which was not severed.

It does not matter if one was a victim or if one deserved the loss of limb or whatever. If it was affected on the psychological side, it will carry over into the subtle body which one discovers oneself as in the hereafter.

Suppose someone is severely ill and decides to end the life by jumping out of the fifth floor of a building. But suppose just when the person jumps a car is slowly driving by and the person’s body makes contact with the hood of the car, so that the fall is somewhat cushioned.

The person then ends up with a fractured spine, and is taken to a hospital. If the car was not passing by we can assume the body would have been killed.

Now this person has to deal with that illness in hospital because the medical people will not kill the body and will do whatever they can to prevent the person from suicide.

Then in this case, even though it was a good idea to commit suicide, still we see that the person was circumstantially put into a worse health situation and also cannot complete the suicide.  So similarly killing the body in a suicide does not necessary make things better for that person on the psychological level even if the suicide was successful.

Neo_Yogi's Query:

Who decides that purpose? Under what circumstances is that purpose designed? How can I find out my purpose for this current material existence?

MiBeloved's Response:

The purpose is decided by what is in the subconscious mind of the individual concerned. It may be stipulated by people whom you meet throughout your life, but they can only do that successfully if it corresponds to the subconscious energy which is in your psyche.

Who decides?

Nature decides!

On what basis does nature decide?

It does on the basis of what happened in the past and on the conjoint social energies which are in the creation and which are operative in the time and place where you are located.

To know your purpose you have to objectify your subconscious stockpile of energy or have an intuition about it.

Each body has senses which procure enjoyments from the environment. That is what life is all about. A cow is in a field. It eats grass because of its sensual configuration. There is a bull in the field with the cow. The bull attempts to mount the cow but the cow pulls away and does not allow it. Here we see that even though the cow has sexual organ which is designed suitably, the bull is not permitted to use that organ, even though the bull feels the need.

However on the following day, the cow stands for the bull and the bull is able to use the cow’s organ and get the satisfaction which the bull craves.

This is controlled by nature.

From this we can deduce the following:

What is the purpose of the cow?

Its purpose is to eat grass and to stand for a bull when it is in the mood for doing so.

What is the purpose of the bull?

Its purpose is to eat grass and to make repeated attempts to utilize the appropriate organ of the cow even if the cow does not always stand for it.

So I suppose one ends up in the same place in the afterlife whether one is murdered or takes one's own life or is killed in an accident?  It all is related to the completion of a purpose dictated by nature.

MiBeloved 3 years ago

It is related to that because if I do not fulfill the purpose for which I was born, then what will happen is that the energy for that would remain in the psyche and haunt me wherever I may go in the astral or physical worlds.

If I do not fulfill the purpose in this time slot then when nature puts me into another situation where the time and place is not suitable, then I will have the feeling that I should complete that purpose but I will feel resentful to the society at the time, because it does not facilitate the fulfillment of my purpose.

Everyone should do their best to fulfill both the social and spiritual purpose. The social purpose is also important but it should not take over the entire life of the individual. The spiritual part should be accommodated as well.

I am at a point of being in this body for about 62 years of age, and by some good luck I can say that now if my body died, I would not have to feel unfulfilled. There are still a few things which I should do but the major part of my life’s purposes, both social and spiritual, are completed.

It is not just a matter of being able to navigate the social maze. And it is not just a matter of having an intuition about the spiritual purpose. All of this has to be supported and convened by nature. If nature objects, then it does not matter how expert I am, I will still not get the fulfillments. Hence if one is lucky and nature serves the winning cards out of the deck, then one will go through the life with ease and will not have to look back or have any incomplete energies to deal with in the afterlife.

In this life, when my body was about 16 years of age, there was a plan that I should go to South Hampton Nautical University in England. In Trinidad mostly by self-study, I passed the entrance exams and was accepted, but then nature screwed that up. So there I was with a lost opportunity.

So then later I had to take to self-study again to learn certain things which I needed to know to fulfill a part of life’s purpose. I was lucky to find two women who helped me with producing and raising children which was a social duty.

Again, for the spiritual mission I met a few yogis physically but that was not enough. In fact if I only relied on that I would not have completed the spiritual mission. Because I developed a very keen psychic perception, I was able to take help from people who are on the astral planes and whom I could not meet otherwise because of nature’s restrictions on the physical level.

Somehow by the grace of nature, both physical nature and psychic nature, I got some luck.

According what I've read from different books by mediums and astral projection authors, they agree that before rebirth, the spirit has to prepare his/her next life, making choices about what lessons they need to learn in their new material experience. Many of these choices are inspired or suggested by higher beings who help the spirit to make the right decision in order to advance in their spiritual development but, most of the time-they explain-those plans are never fulfilled because we tend to forget our aim in this material plane and we usually get lost in sensual desires, etc.

I understand that this is not your experience. It's definitely not how the Buddha explained rebirth. Do you think these mediums or astral travelers are somehow deluded? What makes them coincide in experiencing rebirth this way?

The best source for information on rebirth is the Anu Gita.

I don’t know what the mediums are talking about. The preparation for the next body is the activities committed in this life. This life is the direct cause of the next life and the direct existential support of that next life. It is not a question of preparing for it when you get into the hereafter, because the preparation is done while you have the physical body.

Suppose the police discover that I committed a vicious murder. I am then arrested, tried in court and sent to prison; then how would it sound if I told you that while in prison, I would be preparing for coming out of prison.

That is crazy. In the first place the preparation for prison was done when I committed the crime, and while in prison I won’t have access to regular citizens’ activities so I will not be able to prepare for going back into a citizen’s life when I would be released.

In the hereafter you do not prepare for the next life, because the basis for the next material body is the most recent material body, not the most recent astral sojourn during the time when there is no material body.

The idea that in the hereafter the departed spirits plan their next body is ludicrous. That is totally false and it is based on a desire to give people a sense of security about rebirth and also to award to people rights which they do not actually have.

Even if you were to plan, such plans would more than likely be squashed by providence, because human history is full of all sorts of pot holes in the form of economic downturns, social revolutions, absentee fathers and now career-minded mothers, misfit teachers and so on, even diseases like HIV and so on.

What a person needs to learn is taught to that person mostly by material nature itself with or without the participation of advanced beings. The main instructor in material existence is nature itself. We have this way about us where we trust material nature more than we trust the elevated beings.
