Nerve Attack in Yoga
Hatha Yoga, when it means the practice of muscular and nervous system stimulation and adjustment, is an attack on the natural situation in the body. The yogi gets to know his body, to such an extent that he influences some remote-control features in the nerves, tendons, and muscles.
The various stretches and poses, when done and observed from the inside of the body, results in detailed analysis of the construction of the system. However, the aim is not physical experience, but, rather, subtle observations which result in adjustment wherever possible, and acceptance where Nature ignores the actions, or simple prevents them.
At some point a yogi should shift to the subtle body. He attacks the nervous system, tendons, and muscles which have psychic counterparts. Why do this?
It is necessary to increase the frequency level of the subtle body. It should shift to higher planes of consciousness. The lower the level of consciousness in the subtle body, the lower will be the level of perception of the coreSelf. This is due to the fact that the core is energy-linked to the subtle body.
