Need for Physical Energy

I was with a long-deceased yogi, who was very advanced in yoga practice in his last life. Suddenly, he asked if he could clasp my hands. I said there was no objection. He explained that recently he felt the need to be physical again. It was as if there was a need for physical energy from someone who had a physical body.

Grasping my hand, he clasps it tightly. I felt energy leaving my forearm bones and moving into his subtle hand and forearm. Then I said this to him.

“It is a wonder that after becoming so advanced in practice, and having passed away for many years now, also attaining higher levels of consciousness, still this need to be physical and to have the subtle body needing physicalness, is astonishing. Why is there the recurring need for this?

He did not explain it. After some minutes when his forearm was filled with the subtle energy which flowed from my hands and forearm, he released his grip.
