Psychic Correspondence:

Is there a difference between the speckled darkness seen behind closed eyes in meditation, and the naad light which you frequently describe?

MiBeloved's Response:

There is a difference. Naad light is not the usually speckled darkness seen behind closed eyes. It is not the usual whatever one sees behind closed eyes. Naad light only becomes possible, first of all, when the vision energy is first withdrawn so that whatever is seen behind closed eyes is no longer seen.

To see naad light certain accomplishments are required:

Adherence to naad sound by turning about in the head of the subtle body and facing the back part of it. This must be done for as long as it is necessary so that it becomes easy to do and so that there is no spring back effect, where as soon as it is done the core-self returns to its default position. It must abandon its default position willingly and be able to remain in naad sound.

After this is accomplished the next stage is to retreat to naad sound while facing forward. One must do this and adhere to naad just as if you were glued with superglue some 50 feet up on the outside of skyscraper. You remain glued there and make no exertion to do so. The glue is the adhesive. It keeps you there. No effort is made by you to remain there. And you cannot move from there, this is why I use the terms adhere-to-naad.

Once this is attained then you have to be there with introspective eyelids shut so that you cannot see anything. Your vision interest energy is shut down. You can feel it like when a person feels their eyelids which are closed. You look forward but you cannot see anything, you can just feel those eyelids. The usual speckled darkness or whatever is not there. It can be there if you want it to by opening that vision interest energy. But since you were instructed not to do that, you do not do that.

You can hear naad and that is about it. There are no chakras except for nodes of naad. There is no sound except for naad. There is no other perception except the vibrational consistency of naad.

Then quietly you look forward but you do so with the vision energy still closed, so that there is nothing ahead. Then suddenly within the small space between the core-self and the covering membrane of the vision energy a light comes. It is a glow light. That is naad light. It begins from where you are in the back of the subtle head, glued into naad and it moves forward slowly. If you allow it, it will spread forward but only behind the vision energy membrane. Outside of the membrane there is the usual speckled darkness or whatever you usually see.

You can test this out because if you open the vision interest energy to see forward, you will again see the usual speckled darkness or whatever you usually see and you will know that it is different to naad.

Special Note:

I do not recommend that students just imitate what I am experiencing. Why? Because you should work at your level. The example to follow is to do the practice daily and report what happened in your session. The example is not to imagine my experiences.

Obviously I am practicing on a different level with a different under-basis. Therefore we cannot expect that you will have the same experiences even though from time to time the experiences will seem to be similar. And do not imagine for a second that you have the same type of senses which I have. There are different species of subtle bodies just as there are different species of bodies in the material world. Even in the human species there is difference within the species itself. I may have senses that you do not have and cannot develop at this time or for all times. Therefore it is unreasonable to try to experience exactly what I describe. The repetition of what I do is that I do the practice, I meditate, I report on what happens. That is it.

Even if you have the same experiences that does not tell us anything about your insight level and how you can put the experiences to use. Develop yourself along the lines of your individual progression. That is the example to follow.
