Light of the Self Connect

This practice is best done after a session of breath infusion, whereby the physical body and the subtle one is energized with compressed fresh breath energy. This impaction of breath energy causes the subtle system to shift to a higher plane of consciousness, the result of which is interiorization in a higher astral environment.

After doing breath infusion, preferably bhastrika/kapalabhati, the yogi should immediately sit to meditate. The condition of the inners of the subtle body are checked during the breath infusion, and then as soon as he/she sits to meditate. Noting the condition of the mind, the head space of the subtle body, the yogi/yogini should note if the head space is cleared of thoughts, images and ideas which are concocted by the intellect. Particularly, the imagination function of the intellect should not show. Memories should not arise. The intellect itself should be as if it is non-existent.

Noticing this, the yogi/yogini should hear naad. It may be heard to the right, left, up, down, in or out. Wherever it is heard, the yogi should link to it using a mild linking energy which is not abrupt or jerky. He/She should hold the connection with naad. Then he/she should look forward within an inch and no more. This is psychic distance. When I did this practice, I looked forward only one quarter of an inch.

There one should see a mild shine of light in light within a radius of about one half of an inch. This will cause one to be aware that the vision energy is absent. Even though it is absent, still one will see a shine area and then one will notice that there are shards of light, mini-shards, like slivers of broken glass or fragments of icicles.

One should hold that focus on that light with a mild grasp. Then one will realize that this holding is done by an interest energy which is an inquiring seeking energy. This reaches, like an arm, to grasp something.

If during the experience, one loses the grasp and finds the coreSelf to be somewhere else, one should resume, the connection with naad sound. Then again one should resynchronize with selfLight. One should do this repeatedly during the meditation. Then for days, weeks, months or years, one should become anchored in this practice.
