Kundalini: Lack of sensitivity

Sometimes during kundalini yoga practice, one fails to note all the various paths the energy takes. For one thing, unless one has developed a very high degree of psychic sensitivity, one will miss most of the small charges and movements of kundalini energy.
Even in routine physical actions of the physical body, there is involvement of kundalini that goes unnoticed. Take for instance if one has to urinate and one fails to do so, the bladder becomes more and more filled with liquid, until a point comes when one must urinate. One is compelled to do so, regardless of if one is at the proper location or not. Then there might be a burning sensation or an electrical sensation in the bladder of the body. That is a feeling of kundalini.
During sexual discharge during sexual arousal, there is also kundalini energy surging, building up and discharging like the arc of a spark plug, but can we analyze that as kundalini’s movement.
A lack of psychic sensitivity makes it impossible to know what kundalini is unless it discharges and acts in a big way such as in sexual climax and in its rush into the head of the body during kundalini yoga exercises.
Question is: Why is the natural way the way of dull psychic sensitivity and sharp physical awareness?

Stated in a nutshell, the natural way is the way of the dull sensitivity and the way of higher psychic sensitivity is the other way.
The natural way, the way within the creative energy is expressed and experienced through the senses. The connections and machinations of the senses are subtle therefore undetectable and mysterious.
Taking advantage of their set up as a facility imposes a taxation which results in and from a re-enforcement of habit of use in order to get more satisfaction. I look at that as the system of economy of the senses; it is designed to allow access to grosser and or pseudo-subtle realities.
The other way consists in beginning to get a different taste of material energy, so much so that one is not as much hankering after their cravings, from undertaking their observation and understanding.
By the gradual penetration of this level of consciousness the self, experiences initially some aspect of subtle energy, and may then become positioned to have some affinity with the internal subtle world of the senses, their routing, their processing and the discharging of their pleasure potency.
This shift of the self’s paradigm translates into detecting less obvious sensual manifestations of the life force, as the grosser ones have become less elusive in their mechanics. This process by definition is therefore moving in an opposite direction to the natural way, and hopefully leads to the other end of it, outside of it.
