Kundalini / Buddhi Functions Compared
One lesson which I integrated while talking to Sir Paul Castagna, was that for most human beings the psychic adjuncts do not exist as separate objects or functions but are instead integrated into the sense of me, in the I-ness of self.
He wanted a teaching approach that took that in account but I was unable to produce that. Instead I wrote chapter one in the Meditation Pictorial book and then later worked with devaPriya Yogini to produce the Core-Self Discovery book and DVD. In the interim between those two events, I spoke to many people both physically and astrally about the possibility of objectifying the psychic adjuncts but overall it was a failure on my part.
Why?
Who knows?
I am still observing, writing and diagraming these psychic adjuncts. Even if only a few people come to realize these, I will still continue the effort.
This article is about the kundalini as the master producer of sensations in the psyche, while the buddhi in contrast is the master sensor of those sensation. The kundalini produced the feelings. The buddhi intellect orb gages the pleasure/pain quotient of the feelings. The core-self for its part is highly reliant on both the kundalini and the buddhi intellect orb but it is more closely related to the intellect than it is to the kundalini. The kundalini is relatively speaking carrying on an independent enterprise for producing sensations which it spits out like wildfire and which attracts and confuses the intellect, which in turn creates reruns which hypnotize the core-self.
This all happens at such a rapid speed that the core-self has no idea of the composite psychic organs involved in these operations. By meditation however, by advanced meditation (samyama), one can gain high speed perception from which one could objectivity the subtle factors.
The value of these realizations is that one can begin to catalog sensations or feelings within the psyche as being productions, not of the core-self, but of the kundalini magic psychic lifeforce mechanism, while the gaging about the pleasure or pain quotient of the sensations is done by the buddhi intellect orb. The core-self is not involved in this, except to accept or be indifferent to what the orb concludes.
